The location of the hotel is excellent being opposite the main bus station and a short walk from the Porta Messina entrance into the pedestrian area. We had paid for a room with a view and had a splendid view looking out over the Ionian Sea. We had breakfast in the hotel. Friendly staff and a good choice of breakfast items. We were very pleased with our choice of hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Impeccable staff, helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and had all we needed. Very well located The parking, even being a paying one, was right on the premises and at a lower price from what I saw throughout the city.

Everything really fantastic. Really friendly staff, great location for arriving by bus (and you couldn't hear any noise from the buses which was a concern before we went), easy to get bus from airport. 10 minutes into town centre, not a problem at all Fabulous view and tasty breakfast. Definitely recommend

The only thing I would’ve wished for would have been a coffee maker in the room. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8 o’clock in the morning so I had to wait on my coffee. No lift may be a problem for som, but this was not really an issue for us.

Villa, Astoria exceeded our expectations! It is a beautiful gem. We had a waterview room, and the view of the coastline was spectacular! The staff was absolutely amazing. They took excellent care of us, and we’re very thoughtful. While there is no lift in this hotel, the staff were happy to carry our bags up for us and bring them down. The location is absolutely outstanding! Easy to get to the Main Street, Corso Umberto. Also, a short walk to the beautiful gardens. I would most definitely stay here again!

Rooms are not soundproof so we woke up during the nights and early morning due to noises coming from other rooms.

Everything was wonderful. Starting from the location, the staff, the room and its wonderful view and the breakfast. Totally recommended! 🥰

The pillows were flat and one of the twin beds was a squeaky cot. Both in need of updating. Otherwise excellent!
