The room was an excellent size and clean. Easy walking access to the centre of Lucca. Staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful, especially with recommendations for breakfast.

The bed was quite firm for my liking but this was more personal choice :)

Great proximity to Lucca city center, host was very easy to contact and was amazing to deal with The welcome treat and coffee station was a lovely treat :)

The location is great, directly next to city (just across street you find big wall surrounding the inner city of lucca). free parking available behind the house, very nice garden. Big room with separate bathroom and very nice host (welcome with homemade cake). Kitchen for common use with other guests … we did not use as bars, restaurants etc just opposite the street in inner city but for people who like to do some cooking on their own, it can easily be done at this place.

The location is perfect for visiting Lucca, as it is situated just outside the walls. The room was very nice, clean and had everything we needed. Parking was also available if you are driving, and the host was in regular contact with information about check-in. Really happy overnight stay.

The bed wasn’t that comfortable for me, very very firm. Would be much better with a softer topper on. The air conditioning worked well but took a while to kick in. No lift only stairs so not accessible for those with mobility issues. Very minor complaints!

Beautiful guest house, 2 minute walk from The outer walls of Luca, perfect for access to the beautiful town. Free private parking at the back made it perfect for those travelling with a car. Amazing host who was so helpful and on hand to assist with everything.

The bed frame was a bit noisy when you turned in the bed an there was slight mould in the bathroom ( I know it’s hard to sort with all the wet) The main door was loud to close when other guests were coming in late at night

Beautiful Italian villa style property. Fresh cake and cookies daily plus tea and coffee. Small fridge in your room is really useful. Only 5mins walk into Lucca. Alicia our host was very helpful with information and advice. It was also an easy drive to park outside Florence (at villa Costanza) as well and get the Tramway into the city. We stayed at Villa Agnese for 2 nights.

The Villa was fabulous, great parking , facilities were fab, coffee machine , cake , fruit available, use of a kitchen if needed, and so close to the walled city with easy access

It is a great location, just across one of the old city entrances. It is a lovely old villa, with private parking, a comfortable bed, and excellent coffee available all around the day in a nice dining area. The owner is very friendly with useful tips for restaurants and site visits.

Noise from a nearby road

A very nice old house with a great atmosohere, we had everything we neaded. Coffee and cake in the morning and very close to the centre city.
