Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe pool was a bit small but as the beach was lovely I can understand the pool being that size. But it would have been a better wow factor to have a bigger pool. Variety for children's food in the restaurant could have been a bit better. The Aircon in the villas were very poor power wise. We had to get the Aircon turned on all the time even when we are out so that it was a nice cool temperature when we got back to our home for the week. It really needs to be better. We have travelled around Italy for a month and this was the lowest quality Aircon we've had. It did get adjusted so it covered the bedrooms nicely. But, it should be perfect to use, rather than having to phone the reception to say it's not working properly. The villa we stayed at was nice, with lovely views, but, it just was a bit tired and dated. The curtains were tired, the TV was tiny and didn't have any international channels nor did it allow you to cast your tablet or laptop to the TV to watch your own films etc in your own language. The wifi was also not available in the villa and only available at the restaurant and pool area, and it also kept making you sign in every time you went there. The restaurant needs to have some better Aircon/ventilation ad sometimes when the humidity was high it was very sweaty to sit and eat. The fans on the ceilings didn't seem to be doing anything as we couldn't feel any positive effects from them. I must admit, there was a number of mixed reviews for the resort, so I was worried when I got there. But, overall I would probably go back there if a few things got changed.
The staff were all really lovely. They always wanted to try and make sure we had the best holiday even when they were solving any small niggles. The kids club were polite to interact yet not too pushy when they asked if our kids wanted to hang out. They let them hang out as and when they wanted which was lovely. The restaurant staff were always helpful and polite. The food was always a good variety with some standard every day items each day as well. The shuttle bus for the 7 minute walk to the beach was very regular and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes to wait for it. Usually was more like 5 minutes. The fact that we had a pair of sunloungers and parasol included in the price was really a great plus for us. The place was very clean and tidy all the time. The beach hut with extra drinks and snacks if wanted was also good. Having a lifeguard at the pool AND the beach was also really good. The black out curtains in the villas were good as well. It was big enough to not feel like you were crammed in with everyone, and small enough to feel like it wasn't a massive generic resort.

NetherlandsFar away from a beach. Occasional walks since free shuttle ends at 19:00 sharp.
The room is much larger than expected. We got a 2 bedroom suite which was described as 40m2. If fact it was 2-3 times larger.

Switzerlandthe dinning area were a bit warm. the frying egg pane should be bigger and faster. Long time to wait until the fry egg was ready.
The breakfast was good but the guy who was making the fry egg was very young and the cooking unit was small and slow therefore the whole process was slow. The staff in the dinning area were friendly and good. The dinner was perfect and the varity were good.

United Kingdomthe lack of options for food - you basically had to have the buffet and no snack options if you are at the pool. also looks much more tired in some areas than the photos show
location near the beach was good- the beach is beautiful , but you need a car to go to anywhere else - there is no where for dinner near by which you can walk to

Switzerland- the kitchen facilities needs to be improved (e.g., the egg and pancake sections are far too small for the resort size, resulting in long queues) - The dining area is lacking proper air cons or even fans. So hot which was really annoying at the time of eating. - could not find a proper ball in the football ground (really strange considering this it Italy)
Nice swimming pool (although too small), food was nice, breakfast and dinner, gym and other night programs were good, the club car transport to the beach works fine, rooms are clean. Reception staff really friendly and cooperative. Air cons in the rooms were so good.

SwitzerlandSome surprise charges surfacing at settling the bill without any prior mentioning....
Very nice diverse menu offering the finest Mediterranean food repertoire together with an excellent wine list! Beautiful and well-kept park, very service minded staff everywhere, nice and not too noisy beach with crystal clear blue sea, nice pool area with every night different music/performers. Costs for drinks collected on an account to be paid in the end - no need to carry around and use cash, which is a nice and pragmatic consideration.

SwitzerlandThere was no any kind of shop in the hotel or around that you can reach without a car, so if you forget your swimming suit or a sunscreen you can't get them anywhere. The drinks in the hotel are very expensive, a basic smoothie is 10 euro, prices of wine and prosecco are very high. For the 4 star hotel and for the price that you pay it was strange not to have a hair conditioner or a body lotion in the room, slippers or bath robes, no Wi-fi in the rooms. There were only plastic cups (no glasses) which were mostly cracked and they were not provided every day. There was no remote control to the air conditioning. There are no umbrellas next to sunbeds near the pool, unlike on the photos. The pool is really small indeed. The worst was a separate "beach club" charge which one discovers only after the booking and only if reads carefully - 14 euro per day per person, for the "usage of the pool, beach, towels, animation, etc."- something that is not an optional charge and should be included in the price when one books the hotel. Be prepared for a large extra bill on top of what you have paid when you booked it. If you are a family of more than 2 people and you want a sunbed for each of you on the beach, you will have to pay 15 Euro per sun bed per day. The dinner starts at 20.00 which is kind of late for the children. There was no air conditioning in the restaurant, it was very hot there.
The territory is very very pretty, nice olive trees. The hotel is not big and there is no feeling of crowds even in a high season. The room cleaning was great and the towels were of a very good quality and were changed every day. The food was delicious, there was a lot of fresh fish and sea food, good grilled meat, nice kid's menu. The beach is beautiful, though not totally clean. The sea is fantastic in that area. There is a football field on the territory of the hotel, which can be great for the kids. Each room has a drying stand on the balcony or in the small terrace outside to dry your wet towels and suits, very handy.

NetherlandsEverything looked better from the outside than what it is on the inside. we booked a classic double room, I would not recommend it, it is overpriced for what it actually is (uncomfortable bed, no windows, old furniture). we put a don’t disturb card on the door which was totally ignored. at the end we were also charged extra for using sunbeds, parasol and the towels on the beach, which was not clear when we booked the room or at the check in.
The location is nice and the private part of the beach

PolandNot recommended. This is not 4 stars hotel anymore. - very basic rooms, max 2-3 stars. - no glass in the room! How should we drink the wine from minibar? - inadequate air conditioning system - very loud air conditioning system. you cannot run it in the night or when you are in the room. - not comfortable bed, very hard. - we get one key room only so it is impossible to get out of the room and keep AC running ! This means you are back from the beach into hot room ! - you get small bottle of 30 ml of shower gel per day only! - NO WIFI in rooms ! Wifi available only at the reception and restaurant. I did not even know it still can happen nowdays. - very poor breakfast. basic food with questionable quality. - breakfast open only until 10am ! It means you can not sleep enough at your holidays! At 10am they remove all the food.!! Even before 10 am they start to prepare tables for lunch so you eat and feel like you should leave already! - service cutting the grass in the morning just next to breakfast area! - flies in the restaurant making eating unpleasant. - if you want beach chair in first raw from the water - surcharge of 80 EUR per day!!!! second raw - 50 EUR!!!! per day. Thanks God 3rd raw was included in the price. - At the check out you are paying 7 eur per person per day for the service even if you do not use it (beach shuttle, animation etc.)
Location close to the beach. Nice hotel area with olives tree and well kept grass and flowers. Fairly ok bathroom in the room.

United Kingdom- no room isolation (we could literally hear someone blowing their nose in the room next to us); - average selection for breakfast; - dirty sand on the beach (because we were able to walk across the whole coast line, we managed to see how other resorts were maintaining their beaches and some of them were much cleaner, we actually saw staff members cleaning the sand, not sure why that didn’t happen at this place but whatever); - uncomfortable bed (it was basically 2 single beds placed together, throughout the night either me or my partner would end up in the gap which was quite annoying…); - a bit of a walk (up to 20/25 mins) if you want to get to the area where the restaurants are.
- nice scenery; - polite staff.
