Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Best experience of my life! I definitely recommend this camp to enjoy the beauty of Wadi Rum. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. Waking up with this view was breath taking and I will never forget the camel ride at sunset. Magical

Everything was perfect. The location and of course the hospitality. The bubble tents are modern, amazing and well equipped. The traditional dinner was very delicious and the breakfast too. Everything was clean and new and the jeep ride was amazing. We definitely recommend it

We had an amazing stay in Wadi Rum. Upon our arrival, the hosts welcomed us warmly and provided us with all the necessary information. We opted for an exciting quad ride through the desert before returning to our clean and comfortable tent with a comfy bed. The campground was clean with fast internet and clean bathrooms. Located in the desert, it offers a peaceful setting perfect for stargazing. Room facilities, including air conditioning and heating, were excellent. We enjoyed delicious dinners and breakfasts with a variety of dishes. Overall, this camp offers exceptional comfort and service, making it highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Wadi Rum

The room was clean, and Saif was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and I enjoyed the beautiful view from my window. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in the area.

I have traveled to many places, but this was a special trip. We saw the majestic mountains, rode camels, and took a 4-hour jeep tour with Saif, which made our trip more beautiful. He was kind and helpful and helped us choose the right places to visit. Thank you, Saif.

Magical . Highly recommended. Sara Rum Camp is my to go to camp when ever I am in Wadi Rum. + I have been Dreaming of visiting Wadi Rum. Staying overnight at Sara Rum Camb Exceeded my exaptation indeed. The beds were surprisingly super comfortable, and the room was clean and smelled nice, which sealed the deal for me. The staff is accommodating with a smile, and professional. Mr. Faisal the owner/manager of the Camp I am not exaggerating when I say went off his way to accommodate our needs and make our stay perfect in every other way. I loved the location, we rented a suit next to the rocky mountain, and at night time it was magical, just purely out of this world The camp had branching sidewalks which made walking around the camp convenient and comfortable. With regards to the meals my kids, Husnabd, and I truly enjoyed the complimentary buffet breakfast, serving middle eastern and Western dishes with on-demand freshly made omelets.

- There was nothing I did not like.
It was the perfect place to relax and have a once in a lifetime experience. + The property was in a remote location and exactly what we were looking for. We wanted the true Bedouin experience and we got it. Saif and his team treated us like family and we’re always around when we needed them. They were willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and they were always willing to help.

The reception was good the tents are beautiful and clean the location inside the mountains is imaginative The jeep tour was very fun with Commander Faisal The food cooked inside the ground is very tasty I highly recommend this location
