Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyEverything was fine . It was some small details : Working hours of the sunset bar was a bit confusing, because for service you need to go to the pool bar. Only one thing that was really annoying it is flies near the swimming pool.
In general the hotel was nice. Very welcoming staff , clean rooms, comfortable bed, good breakfast. The beach is ok: have shower, toilet and small bar. You need to walk to reach it around 5 min, but there is a shuttle bus if you need . In the bars and restaurants you wouldn’t find alcohol in case if somebody wondering.

United KingdomBreakfast was expensive and at very low standard. Limited choice for someone who wish to have a something other than bread. Chef preparing the eggs was not ready to serve so many people at once. Tables were not cleaned regularly and we had to move dirty dishes ourselves to sit and have breakfast. Policy of no food or drinks from outside is ridiculous. Beach is around 10-15 mins walk away but regular bus service is available, however you don't wan to spend any time in there as is left alone and no one maintain the place. Sun beds are dirty and broken.
We got upgraded for free so cannot really tell how standard room looks like but the 1 bed apartment was specious and well equipped. Balcony was big and overlooking the Dead Sea. Clean towels and toiletries were available.

United KingdomResult of being cheap. The food is expensive for what it is(16 Dinar each not including drinks) for a pretty bad buffet. The flies, granted not the fault of the hotel but my god there's so many flies. The hotel is clean so it's not from dirt, it's from humidity but sitting poolside was impossible. I stayed in the pool or our room the whole time. It's just a bit rundown as well, full of old people brought in by the coachload on package holidays so I guess that's the incentive for them not improving it. The beach by the dead sea is very subpar. Looks like a genuine construction site. But again, super friendly and helpful staff. Even a nice little shuttle to get you there. But man the place needs a renovation.
Price, it is cheap. Staff is super friendly and nice.

United States of AmericaChaotic check-in, mixed/incorrect information on the Booking.com website, no alcohol or outside food allowed, no binoculars allowed, bugs scurrying around the bedroom/bathroom floors at night, dead flies EVERYWHERE around the pool (which no one would clean up, even when asked), annoying life guard, ridiculously old and shoddy bus transport to the beach, over-priced drinks.
Nothing much about the place. The gentleman operating the gift shop was wonderful. You can buy an amazing dinner at a small cafe 5 minutes away that is run by women. The gentleman applying mud at the beach was excellent and hard-working. The place feels more like a militant daycare than a resort.

HungaryMost of the staff did not speak English, few of the staff were not polite. At the breakfast we had to queue up for the omelette because only one man on one flame were making it for a few hundred people. Every other place we visited it was more man and more flames. We hated the slow elevators.
We liked the beach, but it should have more comfort (shower quality), we liked also the swimming pool. Some of the staff were polite. We appreciate the security measures.

United KingdomThe restaurant buffet choice was limited for hot food but that may be due to the size of the hotel. The room had multiple maintenance and security issues (hotel informed) but as we were only there for one night it wasn't worth changing rooms.
We liked the relaxing ambiance around the pool with the jacuzzi, the swim up bar and the fact there was a separate pool for kids. A regular half hourly or more frequent minibus takes you from the pool to the beach in a couple of minutes where you can help yourself to mud (or the lifeguard will happily slather it on for you) relax on the Dead Sea or on the free sunbeds. Plenty of canopies for shade and showers to wash off the very salty Dead Sea. It's an experience not to be missed.

SlovakiaIt’s forbidden to bring even your own water from outside (you’ll get 2x0,5l bottle for a day and then you have to buy their overpriced water, dinner buffet is bit overpriced as well though tasty, music by the pool consists of 7 songs playing in a loop (trust me, it’s hell listening to it again and again all day)

CanadaThe location was very far from the nice part of the Dead Sea. I would stay else where or if you have rental to drive to where the lake looks better just 20 min south. The pool needs a serious update and was warm. The breakfast was not good for 10jd very over priced.

JordanThe hotel shop was expensive so If I go again i make sure to have everything with me and some extrasnacks. Because there was far to find another shop close to the hotel.
It was very close to the dead sea and it wenr bus to the beach for that during the whole Day. In The pool area there was a Security for accident all Day which also was good as there were severel pools. The rooms were very nice and the service was good. Totalt experice was very good for me and the children. To the food we preferred the alacarte inspelad of buffé to have more special and specific food.
