The room was stylish but very comfortable at the same time. The view is postcard perfect and everyone thought I was in Hawaii or elsewhere when I posted pictures ;)
It’s close to everything and nothing which was perfect for me ‘cuz I wanted to just relax and enjoy the nature but also be able to easily explore local cuisines.
The room had everything we needed so we didn’t leave the building that much…a pool downstairs (all to ourselves for 3days) 5 mins to the emerald colored beach with soft white sand and a supermarket just 10minutes away.
The owner was nice enough to bring us things even we were just asking info of where we could get them.Very conservative.
From now on my 1st option for summer vacations will be at Vermillion Waves.”
“Great location with small children. Indoor playground and outdoor pool provide good room to play. When walking down to the coast, you can find lots of crabs living in the stones. With a little bit bigger children or for adults probably also possible to snorkel (didn’t do it ourselves though).
Kamogawa SeaWorld as well as MotherFarm can be reached within less than 1hr driving.
The location can be reached from Yokohama within 1.5-2hrs driving which makes it a perfect location for a (long) weekend to get out if the city and enjoy nature.
The buffet is good and offers a lot of nice food for all generations - our daughter loved the cotton candy machine.”
“Great location for family getaways in the silent nature, by the ocean. Food both in dinner and breakfast was great, as a standard of Mercure Hotel chain. Several playgrounds available for kids to socialize themselves.”
“The beach right in front of the room is incredibly calm and pristine — truly a hidden gem. While public transportation and shops are limited, that’s probably part of why the area remains so beautifully preserved. The host was exceptionally welcoming and even kindly offered me a bicycle to go to the supermarket, so I could get groceries and enjoy cooking just like at home.”
