Digital breakfast queuing system is very annoying, the Covid times are behind us. Just let the people come and either they will have space or not. Especially annoying is that you need to interact several times with the system for confirming and entering your information etc. It also does not remember you. Please improve.

Very spacious room with sea view, very spacious and well equipped bathroom as well (shower and bathtub). Comfortable beds. Great breakfast selection, complimentary water bottles every day. Friendly staff.

This does not reflect directly on the hotel but for those who want quick access to the 'central' town district it may seem a little far if you do not drive!

ANA Intercontinental Ishigaki Resort was an absolute dream stay! Being slow starters and not one to be out and about consistently when on vacation, it was great having so many facilities and eating options even within the hotel. The breakfasts were exceptional - had me excited for the next morning every night and staff really did cater to every need.

Restaurants a little on the pricey side.

Great facilities. Large-sized room with beautiful view of the sea. Good choice of swimming pools. The beach has a little coral reef, so you were able to see fish when snorkeling, although the water is on the cold side in late November. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast selection.

The ocean wing is getting too old. Not worth the money, although cheaper. Needs a refresher. also queueing for breakfast there was something I hadn't done elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel, staff were extremely helpful. Was concerned after reading some reviews on booking.com beforehand. Breakfast was excellent, room had beautiful views, pools were fantastic and sea just a short walk from the bedroom. Having been to other tropical destinations before, the pace of life can be slower, which if you embrace, you will have a great time.

Eating in the resort is very expensive. Also, lots of additional charges, such as cabanas by the pool and yet they were largely vacant the whole time we were there. Seems a better policy would be to only charge if there was demand - so that at least they were occupied.

The beds are extremely hard, we had an issue with housekeeping not clean up old room service dishes. We also believe the prices for food were extremely high.

Really need more vegetarian options at the lunch and dinner restaurants. Great that the city is only a 1000 yen cab ride away to open up those options.

our shower had lots of mold on the grout and the cleaning crew was unable to make it to our room most of the stay despite us being out and about for 4-6 hours at a time. I think they are still opening up a bit after the pandemic and I suspect staffing levels are a little low (as they are everywhere)

the amenities were great! several outdoor pools as well as an indoor pool for rainy days. the beach was just so/so (very rocky due to coral). Service was exceptional everywhere we went!

Breakfast was good enough, but disappointing given the price and the standard of other (lower-priced) hotels I have stayed at in Japan. More local specialities and products would have been nice. Smell of gasoline throughout the gardens--not sure where it was coming from but took away from the experience of strolling around the very pretty pools and gardens.

NO COVID RESTRICTIONS! Looking forward to the day when the pool bar is open and drinks are served at dinner. It will really be a big improvement to the overall experience. It would be nice to have a microwave in the room too.

We liked quite a number of things! The hotel and grounds were beautiful and immaculately maintained. Our room was very good size and the view of the ocean was tremendous. Loved the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Dinner at Saltida's was oishii katta desu and the service was wonderful.

All food options were very expensive. Way higher than when we stayed 2 years ago. So we ended up eating out more than we would have wanted. Food quality was good but prices were higher than they should be (considering similar meals at other hotels).
