A little more lounge seating in the foyer for meeting with friends, waiting etc. Huge area available if you purchased afternoon tea etc which was never (in our stay) any where near full capacity. Everyone else was excellent!

Location was within walking distance of the Ginza. Taxis are easy to get in and around most of Tokyo so never an issue if we were a bit weary, just hailed a taxi to get us back to the hotel. Lots of restaurants around and about and a 'seven eleven' type store on the corner. Many restaurants to choose from within the hotel, some high end prices, others not so much. Room was quite large and lots of storage and amenities eg ironing board and iron.

Our stay at the Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo was outstandig. The room is spacious, comfortable and equiped with everything that is required and a few things more. The service is friendly and efficient. The restaurants are varied and really first class, specially the french restaurant Enchante. The front desk was expedite and the bell boys extremelly helpful. A really excellent experience.

The food selection in the breakfast buffet was very limited.

The location is perfect as it is quiet and near the train station. Our room is a good size and very clean. The daily housekeeping is outstanding and room amenities are wonderful. The staff are very helpful.

Room was spacious & very nice. I was expecting the hotel to be old, but the rooms are well kept and very clean beyond expectation. Location is so good, so many foods in Shimbashi & walking distance to Ginza.

The pool was not actually in the building and it was limited to adult access only where ever it was....like in a fitness centre. I thought this was misleading because we booked based on there being a pool.

The hotel was fabulous and the staff were great. Good location for access to subway and JR rail lines.

I really did not see anything that I did not like.

Quite area, very close to a major underground/railway station, close to the famous Ginza shopping area. The rooms, beds and toilets are spacious and cleaned properly. The staff are very helpful.

The hot water was scalding hot and if we had had children travelling with us, we would have been concerned. There is a new fad with hotels to have a minimum amount of drawer space. We thought drawer space was insufficient at the Dai-Ichi. That was until we moved on to Kyoto where the hotel has two minute drawers - one for each of us. But I will review that hotel in due course.

We were very happy with the hotel. The location is excellent. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was much larger than we anticipated. The bathroom was also quite large with a separate shower stall (and the water pressure was very good). We were also very pleased with the price point for a hotel of this quality. The hotel also arranged for our one of our bags to be shipped to Yokohama where we planned to arrive five days after we left the Dai-Ichi. (For the intervening five days, in Kyoto, we took our second large bag with us but did not need both bags.) Daily servicing of the room was always completed by early afternoon (if not in the morning).
