Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomVery limited lunch options only. The bed and the bedding in the room was so uncomfortable and too hot. The snorkeling and kayaking only on a very small segment of the beach.
The beach and the pool are very good. The whole hotel like a tropical paradise. They giving you the towels at the beach. For the breakfast and the dinner you have plenty of options and they are changing every day. Great shuttle bus service.

AustraliaFusaki Beach Resort is spread along nearly 1 km of beach front. We were at the northern end, so the walk to and from restaurants and other facilities was rather long. Even in mid-March the resort was crowded. We were disappointed to find that on several occasions our chosen restaurant was fully booked well in advance. We should have made all our restaurant bookings much earlier. The northern car park was often full, which necessitated a long reversing manoeuvre down a narrow road, then relocation to the larger car park 200 m to the south.
The food in the restaurants was very good, and offered a wide variety of western and Japanese dishes. The ocean view from our room was great and the pool was excellent (if a little cold at this time of year). The glass bottom boat tour was interesting.

SpainThe resort is often bustling with children, who are generally fine but can become rather bothersome at times. The resort's location doesn't offer much in terms of nearby amenities, so you'll either need to arrange for a taxi or dine at the on-site restaurants. Speaking of the on-site dining options, they tend to be on the expensive side, which can significantly increase your overall expenses. Moreover, in my opinion, the restaurants lack a diverse range of menu choices. The breakfast buffet can become incredibly crowded, and unless you arrive early, you may find yourself waiting for more than 20 minutes. It's worth noting that individuals with tattoos are not allowed to use the pool. They will be asked to either cover their tattoos or leave the pool area, regardless of whether they are foreigners or not. While you can walk around displaying your tattoos elsewhere on the premises, the policy regarding pool access isn't very clear and should be communicated more explicitly in advance.
The resort is spacious and lovely, located right by the beach with a nice pool. The gardens are meticulously maintained, and the service is overall good. Although the staff, especially at the reception, do speak English, communication can be a bit challenging at times. It's a perfect place to unwind for a few days, but there are some downsides to be aware of (keep reading).

United StatesThis was a really fun family resort! It had awesome swimming pools and a splash park which the kids loved! There were a variety of restaurants and while some of them need reservations, we always managed to find one to eat at and enjoyed the food options. The staff were really helpful and kind.

JapanWe struggled a little to find things like sandwiches for a little lunch. There is a selection of restaurants and the garden cafe which sells dishes from around 1100JPY, but a selection on onigiri or sandwiches or fruit in the little hotel shop would have been great. We have a 2 and a 5 y/o, so keeping them in snacks can be tricky.
The pool facilities for adults and children were excellent, there were plenty of beds around all of the pools and the grounds were incredibly clean and well-maintained. The splash pool is amazing and our kids loved it, they also enjoyed the inflatables and beach toys that were available from the beach equipment boot at the front of the hotel. The BOLD Kitchen was brilliant for breakfast and dinner, there was certainly something for all of the family. We loved the beach grill too. The rooms were lovely as were all of the public facilities. The staff was excellent, helpful, friendly and professional. The shop is good for gifts and drinks but is a little shy on food, so you might want to being a few things like popcorn and crackers with you if you have little kids as there isn't a combini nearby. The hotel is right on a private beach with has many sunbeds too and the sea is crystal clear and just a delight. The lifeguards are vigilant around the pool and the beach, whenever my 2 year old approached the water, they had their eyes on him straight away even though I was right behind him, excellent safety. I was asked to cover my small tattoo which is totally fair, so be prepared to cover up if you're in the pools.

JapanFacilities were pretty old and a little run-down, the bathroom in the villas was very simple and not really up to Japanese standards. Cleaning was infrequent, often came too late in the day (3 pm when kids were napping), and not very thorough. The walk between room and facilities were pretty long and the carts were limited to those who drove in. The bar could have had more options and the no drinking in the pool shallow loungers was really unfortunate.
This a good family-oriented hotel beachside with a great pool and fun splash pad for kids. Food was generally good, with the standout being the beachside grill bbq which was absolutely amazing.

JapanThe room cleaning was fantastic. The only thing was that it was done between 14:00 and 17:00 each day, and the first day we expected it to be cleaned before lunch (indicated at check-in).
the greenery and green areas inside the resort and down to the beaches dere so well kept and a highly diversity of flowering bushes and trees created such a fantastic atmosphere. There was plenty of engaging activities for children!

Japanoverpriced for what you get. parking is a bit far, better to wait for a shuttle. restaurants are ok, but expensive as well. the beach is so-so. due to the net to protect from wild life, the water is shallow. other beaches will have better sand and water. the pool is nice but a bit small as there will be many people .
the waterpark for kids is great, lot of things you can buy or rent on site for beach play. it is really big. the store in the hotel is nice. two restaurants for breakfast.
