The layout of the room we were in was not well thought out (although the previous room we stayed in was much better). There was a thick partition in the middle of the small living room and there was a high coffee table wedged between the sofa and the thick partition such that there was virtually no leg room when we sat on the sofa. The partition was unnecessary and the TV could have been mounted on the wall where an empty decorative console was sitting. The bathroom door also hits the WC when you open it. The cabinets in our room were poorly designed. There was not a single cabinet that had enough length to hang our trench coats. The rails for hanging clothes could easily have been raised to a higher level, since there were lots of wasted space above. The young Japanese duty manager that was at the front desk on the night of 24 April was pretty arrogant and rude. When we asked for a short extension of the checkout time, he told us that it was against their policy to do so and if we wanted the slight extension, we needed to pay or join their membership. His tone and attitude did not make us feel like we were valued guests. Naturally, that left a sour taste and we had no desire to join their membership. To be fair, apart from this particular Japanese staff, we must say that the other staff were pretty good.

Staff were fabulous. We took a break in Kyoto and left some of our bags. When we returned the bags were in our room. A staff member also accompanied us to the taxi when we were on our way home. This attention to detail was great. Very comfortable home away from home and location next to Tokyo station was fabulous for us.

Very central and accessible, just a stone's throw away from the Tokyo station (Yaesu Central Exit). There's lot of shopping and food areas, and it's a few minutes walk to the Imperial palace. The rooms were spacious and it's a better alternative to Airbnb since the cleaners helped tidy up our room everyday and it was so convenient!

My room doesn't provide USB outlets on both bedside. The only 1 USB outlet is beside the TV set, so......inconvenient!!!

Nothing really. The selection at breakfast could be improved perhaps by some variations daily but the quality of the food and service is good.

Its proximity to Tokyo station, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, everything was new and well maintained. Most significantly, the service was friendly, courteous and efficient. Special thanks to Watanabe-San who went to great lengths to help us with filing a lost and found report and navigating the processes with the train authorities and police. We are so grateful for her assistance with making phone calls and helping with translations. We will be back and now view the Oakwood Premier Tokyo as our home in Tokyo!

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very flexible to help us cancelled the extra bed after understanding the situation to ensure we have a comfortable stay despite having to do extra work which is out of good will.. This is excellent customer service!
