I booked the breakfast option, but they only gave us the cards on the first day, which the staff at the cafe took on our first day. I'm veggie and asked whether they could leave out the ham, to which they said no. Not sure why as it takes 2 seconds less to put the ham. My brother isn't veggie but couldn't have breakfast as they took our card and the receptionists didn't give us new ones.

The onsen is a plus. You get fresh pyjamas and towels every day. Location is banging.

I guess I’m a light sleeper because i find it hard to stay asleep with the noise and constant movement..

Although the facitlities are fine, tey can't serve so many guests. Many areas of the premisses were crowded and it's a big negative. Wifi didn't work most of the time.it was impossible to connect. Probably too many users were using it.

The first night I stayed , the bed was itchy, dusty, maybe bed bugs? Or nobody used the bed for a while so the dust mites grew? Second night, after they changed or did their daily cleaning, the bed was nice and clean. The bathroom should have more slippers because there was no more slippers? And there was pee on the ground, wet, needs more staff cleaning with higher customer base. The capsule area also kinda smelled a bit funky. Maybe, more cleaning, despite the 4 hour daily closed shop.

I really liked the day room because it has a big t.v that is on to drown out the noise, people were quiet, nice comfy broken in chairs, decent internet, plenty of power plugs and the bath room is conveniently located in same floor with the laundry room and vending machines. Nice. Also the hottub and bathtub is excellent, adds value to the stay. The place is great price but comes with a wee bit of sacrifice.

The elevator smelled bad, and there is only 1 elevator so it’s hard in check out time, Also it was stuck one time for like 15 minuets so we were stack on our floor

I lost my pocket wifi in the hostel and the staffs are not very eager to help me find it. Wifi sucks

Outdated, you can’t be there between 10am -2pm everyday. No breakfast included Mattress are thing Public bathing only (weird for western people) 1 Elevator for the whole hotel

Me and my husband stayed separately on the male and female floors. The female floor was very safe with a locked door, super clean and facilities provided. My husband did not enjoy his stay as much as there were only shared shower facilities and someone tried to get into his capsule at 3am.

Got rather dirty in shared areas. Also having to clean out your bunk everyday was annoying, but perhaps that’s on me, i have come to realise i’m more of a luxury type of girly

Poor ventilation in the shower/bathroom and locker area. Shower room is pretty small for number of people in there in the morning, not very covid safe etc. The locker area smelt pretty bad when I was there as well. Bedding needs replacement, clearly hasn’t been replaced in a long time. Thin pillows and mattress, holes in sheets etc.

A lot of people to a room which made the bathrooms get messy quick. Common areas smelled like feet.

Check out at 10. The lift was broken so it took an 45 to try and down to the check out and it was absolute chaos and you can’t take the stairs. They should have allowed for extra time for check out for when the lift was broken.

Everything was uncomfortable. The beds were uncomfortable. The ride up to the lobby was uncomfortable. The ride between floors was uncomfortable. The showers were uncomfortable. It wasnt fun being there but the location was nice.

The location was nice and convenient being beside the interesting parts of shinjuku. Some nice amenities were included. Thats about it. But the post is making me write more to fill up space. So heres some words.

I wish the 10a checkout time were a bit later, and it would be nice to be able to leave things in your capsule during the duration of your stay. I wasn't necessarily expecting a huge sense of community but this was definitely less social than other hostels / capsule spaces I've stayed in.

Space was more or less as advertised; cordial staff and the bathrooms especially were super comfortable and clean.

The beds were quite thin and uncomfortable. It's good enough for a place to sleep, but if you have some back problems, you might want to try elsewhere. Also, while not the fault of the staff, I think the cheap price and location attracts a lot of unruly guests. Noise was a huge issue because the capsules aren't sound proof and the entrance is covered by just a curtain. You can request for ear plugs at reception which helps. Another big annoyance was the elevator. There is only one and it's the only way to traverse between floors. It's also tiny and sometimes it's too full so you gotta wait a long time for it to come back and just hope there's enough space. This also isn't the hotels fault, but I wish they would let us use the stairs as well.

The price is great for the location. Located very close to the popular tourists spots and lots of night life. Staff was friendly and spoke good English.

Wi-Fi practically does not work, there are a lot of people living here, because of which the level of comfort is rapidly falling down. The capsules are old, in mine the light worked every once in a while. There are no stairs between floors, only an elevator, which takes a very long time to wait
