We arrived at Kansai Airport in the evening and the express train made it to Namba in 40 minutes. Easy walking distance to food, clothing and train stations. Bar36 had a great view of Osaka at dusk.

We had the junior suite which was great but I found the room a bit dark as it had a window close to the bed and the seating area did not have a window. Would have loved a bit higher floor than the 16th for better views

Bars and restaurants were closing very early (10:30/11), a pity for an hotel in a city with such a vibrant lifestyle. We would have loved to "decompress" in a hotel with a drink before going to bed, but the bar was always close.

The location is just perfect, literally on top of one of the main station of Osaka and few minutes walking from the Dotonbori district (where you can taste the world famous street food of Osaka). The room was spectacular with an amazing view of the city, pretty big to accommodate a family of 4 comfortably and with plenty of space an an amazing bathroom. The Breakfast was served on the top floor with a majestic 360 view of the city, it is like having breakfast in an observatory. The quality and quantity of the buffet was also pretty impressive.

Bed is a little bit on the firmer side of things. but still offered a good night's sleep though. Finding the access of this hotel is rather difficult/confusing coming out from Namba's Midosuji line, because the entrance is nestled somewhere within a maze of entrances towards different shopping centres. But once you find it, things become much easier.

The property is within walking distance to a fair number of places, namely Dotonburi, the Midosuji line, and the Nankai-Namba line to the airport. The view from the breakfast restaurant and the room was also killer in my opinion, allowing me to truly appreciate Osaka City

The breakfast is terrible ! Not at all Japanese style … no grilled Mackerel …. Pls review your menu one year ago and compare to today’s menu . The menu one year ago is perfect . Everyday is the same thing and only minor adjustments to the menu (I mean less than 3 different dishes changed ) it’s like catering to the Caucasions , what happened to the Japanese section ? A simple breakfast from Stargate hotel can be one of your selection and very low cost . Wish to see the breakfast menu from one year ago when we last visited in Feb 2023 .

The bathroom was outdated and old. Long check in process where they insisted in giving me a room with 3 beds claiming that i was upgraded to a bigger room. However it was sorted out eventually

Facility is really old. Room is large enough. I brought two 28” suitcases and one cabin suitcase, suits well in the room. But the furniture in the room are really not well maintained. Drawer under coffee machine slides out gradually everytime after I push it in. At first I thought it a prank from my daughter. Sofa seems also has some ages. And when I need to call front desk, I found out one phone in the room does not work. From my point of view, some facility shall be refurbished.

Location is super. Directly on the Nankai Railway. 5min walking distance to Dotonbori, Nippon Bashi. Downstairs on the street, there are enormous choices of restaurants, shopping center and bars.

Located just outside Namba station which made it very convenient for us to do our sight-seeing. Concierge services helped us with making reservations for Kobe Steak and a sushimi tasting restaurant. You're in the heart of Osaka and walkable to most things you'd want to see. Adjacent Sky 360 mall gives you access to supermarket and 7-11. Very handy for when you wanted to pick up things to bring back to the room.

For me personally, I think it would have been great if the bar closed later than at 23:00. We were having a great time there, and it's a shame that we were forced to go to find drinks somewhere else below, when we were at such an amazing spot.

It was a great stay. For me personally, a highlight was going to the rooftop bar and chatting with Brent (sorry if I made a mistake writing the name, he was an U.S.A citizen from Las Vegas, ex-military-stationed at Okinawa). We had a great conversation and he shared very interesting insights about the Japanese culture.
