The bathroom was dirty in the morning after so many people used it. The bathroom was rather old and shower curtains a bit mouldy.

We loved the tatami room and it was a good size for a family of 4 with suitcases. The location was amazing with so many restaurants and shops nearby.

11pm is the latest check in time. It's not the hostel's fault as the building closes and the hostel is on the 18th floor. But nevertheless it still sucks to be staying somewhere so close to the amazing night life of Tokyo, but you don't get to experience it because you have to be at the hostel by 11.

The views are amazing. And it's a great place to meet other hostelers. The showers and Onsen were clean and very nice to use. The facilities overall were very modern.

The private shower is too far from the room (female room). You can put a hair dryer in that place instead of in the toilet. Besides that, it is too far from Halal food restaurants

Curfew was a bit of a challenge but it’s understandable because it is a Youth hostel and it’s building policy.

Location has access to Iidabashi station. Room and bedspace is sufficient for the number of guests per room.

The place closes from 11pm-6am, meaning you must be back before 11pm or you’re shut out for the night. A bit of a bummer if you’re wanting to go out.

The 11pm-6am curfew was a little restrictive and has to be considered if staying primarily for nightlife. I also found it wasn't an overly social hostel in terms of meeting other solo travellers but that may just have been the nights I was there.

Great location - in the bustling area of Iidabashi and within walking distance of the imperial palace and Yasakuni Shrine. The views from the 18th floor are also great. Facilities were plentiful, clean and modern. Overall the place was very spacious and a great place to start a Tokyo visit.

TCYH is clean and tidy and very well operated. The rooms are quiet from outside city noise and the other hostels guests are very respectful. The TCYH building is right above Iidabashi station and is a great central location from which to trek about Tokyo.

Curfew made it a bit stressful for me, it depends on your personalities and if you want to experience nightlife Good for a few days, but I would not spend all my time in Tokyo there because of curfew Kitchen very small and not made to cook something else that ramen or microwave dishes

if you don’t wanna feel like in a prison - don’t stay here. cant get inside after 11pm to 6am, don’t have hot water all day, just some hours. also lots of teenagers staying here. very uncomfortable pillow and mattress, difficult to sleep.

The face that they were actual bunk beds made it feel a bit open and privacy is not too easy to come by. Because it is a really cheap stay, you may run into some odd people which is at no fault to the actual hostel. There is a curfew at 11 pm which is a bit of a bummer if you want to experience the night life, but again, is not at the fault of the hostel.

The location is in a nice area and is also really close to the major tourist areas. The public bathrooms and facilities were also well kept and enjoyable to use. It’s a cheap place that’ll get you exactly what you’ll need.

The noisy people in the hostel, if you are sensitive to sleep you will not rest in that place. There is noise all the time. Inside the rooms and outside the rooms. And the beds are not comfortable, but is ok.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. They allowed me to let my luggage in the hostel for free for a half a day. The location I great, is almost inside an important station,bwith lot of connections. The price is good.
