Air conditioning was senescent and didn't cool the room well. Moreover one evening the hotel was on generator for like 2-3 hours and air conditioning was off. The fan in the bedroom area was a life saver😰 . Monkey and blackbirds are a nuisance at breakfast . Didn't make me feel comfortable. This morning I selected some breakfast ingredients and dropped my plate on the table. As I went to get a cup of green tea a blackbird came flying in and stole a sausage from the plate🙄 . Finally there was a quite a bit of left to be desired regarding advising and organising for local ocean attractions . I wanted to book a fishing trip. I was told it was US 400 for 4 hours. I went to a hotel nearby and got a 2 hour deep sea fishing for €150. I had a whole boat with 3 fishing line and 3 staff to assist🎣.

The location is superb with shopping mall (supermarket and food court ) within a walking distance. Quite a comprehemsive menu at the restaurant / grill😋. The half board breakfast and dinner buffets were good. The swimming pools are pretty attractive . Staff are hospitable and friendly. Beautiful beach front and bar on beach.

The front desk staff are not particularly friendly. They overbilled me at checkout (they tried this last time I stayed here too). The rooms are pretty basic for the price. Bedding and towels are very old and worn.

The pool and the Moonshine Beach Bar are the highlights of Reef. The Poolside restaurant serves excellent food as well. All of the staff around the hotel (pool, servers, room cleaners etc.) were very friendly. The AC works really well too.

Space was good. Breakfast was okay. Enjoyed sleeping by the sea. And relaxing on the benches.

Mqybe you can install small fridge, small table. Towels and beddings need updating including bath mat. Stayed with one bath mat for 4 days in a room of 3. Room was too open so suggest some blinds on windows. More benches needed.

Facilities are dilapidated (rooms). Service around the pool area is very disappointing. Staff would often forget ones order, and there was a time one sat for more than 1hr 30min awaiting a drink, which only arrived after I lodged a complaint with the manager. The public beach is rather beautiful, but dirty (with papers, plastics, and garbage often on the sea bed) thus my kids refused to swim on the beach and only limited their swimming to the pool (which unfortunately only opens at 10am-6pm)

Rooms and facilities seem to be straight from maybe the 1980s (?) and never modernized (bathroom with ancient water taps, neon bed lights, tv, ... No fan, no mini fridge, no bedside table, one chair for a double room) New year's gala dinner was close to "money back": no table although booked, 30 min + queue to food, food not keeping the ad's promises. Supervisor and manager were nice and tried their best, but this was still a "never again" event ...

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful place, good swimming pools, lovely trees ...

No hairdryer, even if we requested the staffs are not helping. very noisy A/C. Safe failed to open.

I travelled to MBA after a long time (30 years) and still find the hotel in the same state, unless the hotel wishes to maintain the same old historic look. Considering doing some changes may improvised the business by attracting more westerners. Location is perfect!!

Property looks quite outdated and requires refurbishing and modernising. The breakfast was pretty standard and same through out my stay. Can’t comment on dinner and lunches as booked on BB

We requested early check in which was granted and arrived at the property by 7 am but we had to wait in the reception until noon to be shown to our room,

They're rooms were clean, 3 different pools and direct beach access.

Staff communication was great and everyone was very welcoming. We especially loved spending time in the pool and the pool bar is amazing! We also loved the Moonshine bar...overall we loved every moment!

The « sea view » room we had was super small and a bit old The « all inclusive » food options are very limited (it does not includes any dish « à la carte » so I find it misleading to call it « all inclusive »)

The delay when ordering food especially while in the pool bar. The one waiter in charge was generally overwhelmed and would sometimes forget our orders. Placing food orders through other waiters was much better.

The pool bar is fantastic. The food was nice and fresh and the swimming pool was clean.

On the weekends Moonshine disco will run late into the night (past 3am), if you have a room facing the beach you’ll hear the music until it stops. Beds and pillows aren’t too comfy. Bathrooms are clean and functional but the fittings are a bit worse for wear.

Good location, direct access to the beach, 5 mins walk from shopping malls. direct access to Moonshine beach bar/disco. Reasonable buffet style breakfast.
