The pool had stagnant water which was extremely hot in air temperatures around 39-40 degrees centigrade.

The design was nice with villa like rooms spread out around a pool.

Roadworks all around the property at the moment and some maintenance was needed. Pool loungers were broken, and so unable to be adjusted or layer on.

The staff were lovely and it felt homely. Everything you needed was there. Breakfast delicious…

They have a very rude tuk tuk driver working for them. He ask much more then normal tuk tuk drivers.. when you tell him this he will go for the normal price but with a very bad attitude not even willing to talk. When he picked us up from the bat cave when it just started he came to and said time to go.. we told him we wanted to see it until it finished.. he said ok but came to bother us 2 times more..

It's a little bit far from the city. Concerning the excursions, they offer different tours but be aware that once you paid the tour by itself you still have to pay fees or "donations" wherever you stop, which make it pretty expensive at the end of the day. The tour was great but I would have preferred to be informed at the reservation n not once I was sat in the tuktuk.

Staff is very kind, the place is very quiet n confortable. The pool is great n the food is excellent.

The mosquitos. It's understandable because of the water and plantation. I would recommend taking insect repellent. This will not stop me from going back

This property was a bit further out of town than I would've liked. I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to walk to dinner from here. This wasn't the hotel's fault. But, the property looks closer in in the map than it felt. The food cooked at the property was so-so (even if the cook was nice).

This hotel has lovely rooms and lives up to its namesake of being a "sanctuary." The cabanas are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the setting is peaceful. Good value for the price.

Water was cold in the shower. Ants in the bread at breakfast (as soon as we mentioned this, they made fresh bread straight away). Nowhere to dry clothes. The rooms are slightly more dated than the pictures but still nice.

Very peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed eating at the restaurant - the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The room was fairly sized in a beautiful garden setting. The pool was big and refreshing - at first it looks really murky but once you get in, you realise the water is really clean, it's just a stone design to fit in with the jungle theme. For breakfast, eggs were to order, which was great.

There wasn’t a fly net in the room so many bugs came in. Sheets could have been a bit cleaner. Air con wasn’t great and room got too hot. Pool wasn’t attractive, lots of bugs and wasn’t clean. Staff weren’t too friendly at times.

The room was very big which was good. Nice big sun beds buy the pool also. Cheap dinner options which was good.

the bathroom didn’t feel fully clean (maybe just old), one of the pillows had mould on it under the case. there was a bird in the roof that woke us up through the night.

Nothing, very good price/quality

Buffet breakfast was very nice. The pool had cool lightnings during the night and the hotel provided towels; the room was also very confortable and you couldn't hear the people around you.

Tower is over used become very thin and dirty feel. When shower have a very big ants on the wall.. a bit scary they fall on me. air conditioning not work very well, only certain part of room can feel it works that make night time a bit tough to fall asleep.

We have a connected room, both room have massive space and queen size bed, bed is comfortable but have some pilling on bed sheet. Bath room is big, shower water big and hot but only have showerhead, I prefer to have a hand shower. Breakfast not so variety but acceptable. double bed room have a small private pool with glasses roof is impressive but is shame the day we stay can not see the stars at night.

we were disappointed about the pool, it didn't look so clean and inviting. We didn't want to swim in it. The pool has no tiles and no skimmer and it was not completely filled up.
