Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaSteps/stairs and lift stops between floors. However, this is similar to other accommodations. No real problem.
Paul, the manager, was very helpful and friendly. Kind and understanding of my very stressful, unpleasant travelling experience to arrive in Myeongdong. He did not hesitate to try to help me when I asked for assistance. 7 eleven right across the street. Was quiet the majority of the time. Great for solo travellers. It's great for those on budget. Room small but cosy and had all you need. Ample tea and coffee were available, and there were also fresh towels, aircon, and tv. Good location, easy to find, and I would be happy to stay there again.

ItalyThe only issue is the sink because the water you use from the tap then comes out from the bottom of the sink and goes into the drain (the same drain of the shower) and can wet your feet but you can get used to it.
The place is very central in Myeongdong! If you are tired during the day, you can rest in the afternoon and not having fear of missing out because Myeongdong is open and lively till 11pm with its restaurants, shops and food stand. The accomodation is comfortable enough to sleep. The room where I slept in is clean. There are TVs and ACs which is essential for summer. You can change towel everyday. The staff is always available and kind for any questions.

I like its location. It is a short walking distance to public transportations like taxi, bus and subway stations. Also, it is close to the heart to Myeongdong.

Philippinesi did not like that they don't have an extra dyer for clothes especially when we were there it's a winter season(dryer was brokern during our stay). I would suggest maybe next time, there must be an extra dryer/washing in case i gets broken because it's an essential to all travelers esp to backpackers. But all in all K STAY is good place for those who are budgetarian, 💯% recommendable.. thank you to the manager, he speaks well in english and very accommodating.✅✅✅✅✅✅✅
i like the location it's just walking distance to street foods & restaurants, shopping, transportations. I would definitely recommend this to my friend. ✅💯💓

PhilippinesI think a small table will do, but nonetheless, everything fits perfectly.
I totally like that it's conveniently located in Myeongdong, making it a good value for money. I also loved the self check out system and that we can leave our luggages without worrying much. Plus, they are very accommodating to queries. :)

NetherlandsReally tiny, and the shower flooded the bathroom, the drain needs some unclogging. Also at the entrance there is a sign saying I was not at the right place (apparently there are two places with similar name), but in the end I was in the right place, but just spent half an hour trying to figure out if I was at the right place.
Awesome location.

United StatesMy light flickered frequently, and with no power in the room when you're out (requires the key to be own), the room gets very warm and stuffy in still, air. The split level staircase between the floors and the elevator was a bit odd.
The location was amazing! Very close to the metro station, and walking distance from multiple attractions. There is a convenience store and 24 hour take out place just across the way, as well as a money exchange with fantastic rates. The hot water was nice, and bed was large. Basic accommodations, but was all that I required. The coffee machine and filtered water (both hot and cold) were nice extras!

PolandThe bathroom size is a joke. It's hard to wash yourself. Then everything is wet. The room was stuffy even with air conditioning. You can hear other guests across the wall. It's pricey from what you can get.
Localization was superb. Subway is just around the corner from where you can get everywhere. At night you have Myeongdon Night Market which is fun experience. It's in perefect distance so the noise won't bother you. All day trips (DMZ, Nami Island, Seoraksan) are available from Myengdon. The room size was ok, You have enough space to open 2 suitcaise and still move to the bathroom.

United StatesI never stayed in such a small room. I felt a little claustrophobic. No windows, the bathroom is seperated only by the wall of glass. After showering it smells in the room. The price for such a room, more like a storage room is extremly expensive.
Paul at the reception was very friendly, kind and helpful. We appreciate the coffee machine and the water spring.
