Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOnly Booking.com messed around with me. I booked the property as I saw airport transfer included. As our flight landing 10:30 in the evening, and our first time in Seoul, I didn't want to take risk getting taxi with unable to speak Korean language. The property didn't actually do airport transfer and had to arrange by ourselves. But the property owner kindly arrange taxi for us. The price is a bit high, but we were safe and comfortably got to the property at midnight.
Breakfast was okay as I don't normally have breakfast unless they offer Korean traditional breakfast :-) and I don't eat cereal. The location of the property is great as walking distance to most of the places. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the property.

AustraliaOne of the most beautiful and tranquil hostels I've ever stayed in! The hanok has been completely renovated and was brand new and immaculate when I stayed, if you are into interior design it is heaven! Everything is so chic with beautiful details down to soft lighting, filtered water, bathroom amenities and welcome treats. It felt so much more luxurious than a hostel - surely the best value in Seoul. Highly recommend, especially for women, with great bathrooms and such a welcoming feeling from the hosts in the lovely shared spaces. I would move in here!

Singapore1) Charging access: not all cubicles have usb-c charging access. Despite me specifically asking the hostel owners about this and given assurance that the cubicle has usb-c plug, I was assigned a bed that only has usb. While they were happy to exchange the cubicle, I eventually made do and stayed put. 2) Difficult access to hostel: Many travellers touted the proximity to Myeong-dong subway. Not many mentioned the very steep uphill climb just to get to the hostel. Then, to get to the front door, it was another extremely steep uphill porch. Even if you take a cab, rolling your suitcases up that porch will not be easy. I only had a light carry-on suitcase and I struggled to roll it up. In fact, it rained alot one day and I wanted to take cab back from Myeong-dong. I was charged 20000 KRW (~ 15 USD) despite the hostel being just literally across the road but it is rather inaccessible from the main road. On that point, it can be very quiet and dark at night going back. There's a path of blue lights embedded in the road but there's literally NO ONE along the street back to the hostel.
traditional looking with modern facilities.

BelgiumThe kindest hosts I ever met! I stayed in the female dorm and the room was very clean with nice private showers. The dorm has lockers to keep your suitcase and the beds are quite spasious in width. The simple breakfast was perfect for me and the living room was a pleasant place to chat with some fellow travelers. All in all, the most cozy hostel I stayed in.
