Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceBreakfast is ok. I wish there was some cheese in the morning, and you will be charged for a coffee from the machine if you don't want filtered coffee from the pot.

IndiaRooms were tiny. There is no daily cleaning. I stayed for 4 nights and my room was not cleaned at all. You can take new towels from the reception and put the used ones in the dirty towel hamper kept on each floor. Shower Towels are tiny. Beds are comfortable but rickety. You'll have to keep the windows closed all the time. Shower is at a weird angle and you'll just have to use it as a hand shower. The bathroom is positively tiny.
The location is amazing. 200 m from Myeongdong subway station. 200m from Airport limousine bus stop. 500m from night myeongdong market. There is a free breakfast station with bread, milk, juice, egg (make and clean up on your own) and ramen. They let you weigh your bags at the reception if you request it.

PhilippinesThe room is very small. I also suggest to provide body wash, toothbrush and toothpaste for guests.
Location is very good. It’s near myeongdong shopping street, subways and airport limousine bus stop which is perfect for tourists. The staff is very responsive when I address a few minor concerns.

PhilippinesThere were no bath towels provided—only hand towels were available. The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. Room cleaning was not done on a daily basis. The shower setup was inconvenient, as the shower hose didn’t fit properly in its holder, requiring you to hold it throughout your shower. Additionally, the shower area had visible scum and grime on the walls and glass door, which made it feel unclean.
The location was convenient, with easy access to the room. The surroundings were quiet, and a basic breakfast was offered at no extra cost. Laundry and dryer facilities are available for guests who need to wash their clothes. Do note that this is a self-service accommodation, so it’s best to manage expectations accordingly.

PhilippinesThe room is a bit small for 4 person. No bidet and no room cleaning. You need to throw your own trash. The AC is not working well.
Great location, accessible to train station, and the Myeongdong street. There's a lot of food for breakfast. The best thing is you can check in as early as 9am. No need to wait for the regular check in period.

United KingdomSadly the rooms are a lot smaller than they appear in the web site pictures. We were staying for 20 nights and this would not have worked. The manager gave us a larger room at no extra cost which was acceptable.
Very friendly staff who did everything to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast was great where you could make your own eggs and coffee. Cereal and fruit was also available. The location couldn't be any better

SingaporeAt times, there was not enough food for breakfast. The room is a bit tiny for 5 with barely any walking space and there is no space to hang our clothes in the shower. If you book the accommodations earlier, you can get something much better for the same price or less in Myeongdong. But given that it's a last minute booking, the price was fair enough given its location.
We helped ourselves to the breakfast - cup noodles, breads, bananas, milk, water, coffee and tea, eggs ( you've to cook yourself). The cup noodles were tasty and we bought some home from the supermarket. Staff was friendly and helpful.

JapanMaybe an oversight on my part but the bathroom does not have a lock or even closing mechanism to hold it shut. Fine for solos or couple but personally prefer a shut bathroom when travelling with family or friends. The outlets were old and finicky. We made do but it was more difficult than I would have liked. Lastly our room had a lit up sign right outside the window which the blinds could not cover fully.
The self check in and check out were very useful and easy to use. The location is also amazing with easy access to food, shops, and the station. The beds were surprisingly comfortable.
