The hotel provided a good base for a short trip. Food was a highlight, with satisfying meals. Room comfort was adequate – nothing special, but perfectly functional. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pool area was nice and a welcome respite from the day. The only real downside was the lack of a view from the room. This was not a deal-breaker, but it did limit the overall experience. Overall, a solid choice for a basic, comfortable, and well-staffed hotel.

The road to the beach is messy, but it's about location, not the hotel, inside the property I can mention only low water pressure because of which we couldn't use the bathtub completely — only as shower

The breakfast.Booking.com said including breakfast.breakfast was alacarte.my wife is veg.was Served 4 slices of bread,1sliced tomato,1 salad leave,1 glass of juice.asked for fruits refused.After paying so much the hotel should have thought about it or when booking the system should show Alacart or buffet.

My family stayed here for one night and we absolutely loved it. Wished we had stayed longer. The staff were exceptionally friendly and greeted us with smoothies and cold refreshing towels and were always ready to help out. We really recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast which comes included. Kushan (the manager) made so many delicious curries for breakfast it was such a treat. The hotel was pristine and is only two years old (in 2025). The beds were very clean, comfy and cosy. We spent lots of time in the pool, which was a perfect temperature. Eagles flying overhead. There is a supermarket nearby with snacks and after walking for a short distance down a jungle lane is the beach. On the way back to the Palace there was a nice restaurant (Sunshine Restaurant) and as it became dark glowing fireflies appeared.

My family and I truly felt so much peace and relaxation while staying at this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived until the time we checked out, each of the staff were nothing but helpful and very hospitable to us, and made us feel right at home! We loved the beautiful pools, meals and extremely comfortable rooms - not to mention the gorgeous views and proximity to the beach, convenience store and train station. We would absolutely love to return to this amazing place!

The room we had booked had a small wet room as the en-suite and I was worried about my husband slipping, as they had availability changing rooms was not an issue and was achieved with no fuss. In a perfect world I would rather have a straight shower with glass panel rather than a shower over the bath.

Beautiful Family run Boutique Hotel set back from the galle road fronted by a lovely pool area and garden. The small indoor pool is just as stunning. This was the owners home and the rooms have been tastefully furnished to a high standard and all the staff are friendly and helpful. We felt like house guests rather than hotel guests, and loved our two night stay especially as the sun returned after 5 days of rain as a late season Cyclone hit the whole country. Our stay was great value as we booked the day of our arrival and got a Black Friday discount. The owner also let us stay a couple of hours beyond the departure time.

I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with both the room and toilet being spotless. The room size is quite decent, and the bathroom is spacious, featuring a neat and large bathtub. The hotel has two aesthetically pleasing swimming pools—one indoor and one outdoor. The outdoor pool is of a decent size, perfect for a refreshing swim. Breakfast offered limited vegetarian options, but the taste was very good. The staff were very proactive and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant, but a few improvements could make it even better. It would have been great to have a mini bar in the room for added convenience. Although there was a kettle and cups, we were surprised to find no tea or coffee stocked. We had to request them from the staff, and while they were provided promptly, having them ready in the room would enhance the experience. Breakfast was nice, but a bit more variety of authentic Sri Lankan dishes would add a special touch. Overall, a comfortable stay, but these small adjustments could make it exceptional! Hope to see those on our next visit😊
