Room in roof space has many beams, giving it character, but making it tricky to move around.

It was not possible to open the window in our room. But I think it was just this one room. Since we online stayed one night we did not complain about it. So I hope its not unfair to do it here. Because its a very nice accommodation anyway.

we planned to pay by card, but the owner asked to pay in cash because of the weekend (you should check this in advance). In hot weather, there was not enough air conditioning in the room (in the hall - it was nice and cool)

I was going to check out at an unconventional time in the evening to get to the night ferry to Sweden. That created a challenge concerning the returning of the bunch of keys (room and outdoor), because 1) there was no personnel present in the evening, 2) the outdoor could not be opened or/and locked without using the key and 3) there was no mailbox into which drop the keys. The owner was friendly enough to come and retrieve the keys at a time that we agreed upon, but still I regret not having booked a room in a proper 24 hour service hotel in which I could just have left the keys, preferably a plastic key, to the reception without arrangements.

The location was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the breakfast was tasty. Short walk to the bus station and ferry terminal.

The location is great. The rooms are small, but cozy. The rooms were clean, a kettle was available.

The bathroom is not very practical. It is too small to use comfortably. There is no shower curtain to prevent water from splashing everywhere. The staircase is very steep - if you have multiple big bags to carry, it is quite tricky.

Small but cosy, perfect for a short stay. The rose garden is beautiful and might be a nice place to have a cup of coffee in summer. The price is very reasonable.

Partly it is my fail that I did not check the complete information better. I expected a lovely old wooden building with genius loci. The reality is that this building is a mix of a cosmetic studio, a cafe house, and accommodation on the second floor. The immediate surroundings of the building are not nice. In my room, I could hear practically everything from the next room. The toilet in the room was unfortunately located next to a sloping ceiling, ok for sitting but almost unusable for standing... For women ok,, for men not .. :-)

The staff was helpful. I was in an old wooden building with visible beams. The cleaning service was excellent.

The bathroom is weirdly shaped, so the showering and using the toilet standing up is a challenge. The TV had only 5 working channels.

Good location, cozy room, and met my expectations. My upstairs room had been completely renovated, nice bathroom, tea boiler was great. Clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor space, location near shops and restaurant. Friendly staff, helpful. I would go back again. I only tried the breakfast, it was a good meal and reasonable price. I recommend this Kupfernams.

The room was quite small, which would be ok, but in order to walk around the bed, you have to duck to avoid hitting your head on a beam. That's the structure of the building so not much can be done about it, but it still makes the room a bit less comfortable. The breakfast could have more options, it was either pancakes or omlette, and a few basic items like cheese, bread, cereal also available, but not much choice. There could be more variety, but you won't leave with an empty stomack.

The bed was very comfortable, the room is clean, staff friendly and polite and the location is perfect.
