The road to get to the property was unplowed and the terrace was snowed in. It would have been nice to have a shovel provided to self clean the terrace during winter. Luckily I had one in the car so the entrance was cleared in no time.

Nice, clean and organized camping cottages. Very warm even in the winter. Nice location at the bottom of the Ozolkalns ski hill and next to the river Gauja.

Nothing! . We had an issue with no water the first night because the pipes froze at -20C (no ones fault). Staff came to see us before we even complained and offered us free skiing for our inconvenience. It was a super cold few days ( unnaturally cold) so we bought a little extra space heater to help warm our space.

We had a quiet few days with our family. The staff were outstanding and super friendly. Always someone available to speak English. We really enjoyed our few days here and would like to come back when the weather is warmer! A great stay!! We had a great time skiing and walking around the premises. Even had a nice BBQ for food which was a great winter activity to warm up..

Fire alarm was giving a short beep every 30 seconds. I suppose, this has been corrected already.

Great location in the winter: you can see skiing slopes from your large window. Well equipped kitchen available in one of houses for common use. Electric heating is well adjustable for a convenient temperature.

It would be nice to have some shower appliances and hairdryer. Also, bathroom floor was wet when we arrived, seems like it was due to leak from shower.

Cottage was perfectly equipped for a short stay! Local camping cat Rocky who came to visit and slept in our bed for a while was the highlight of the day!

Not much, only thing that could be better was that the water kettle did not switch off by itself.

The cottage was located in a forest with a beautiful view of the ski hill. The location allowed for nice walks in nature. The outdoor kitchen of the property was very well equipped.

exactly as advertised on the pictures , cosy, warm and practical! location is amazing , can go straight to the slopes. We were checking in very late, but staff texted all the details and even called back few times to check if everything was ok and if we need anything extra.

The place is beautiful and peaceful, close to Cesis. Everything was just great! We would definitely come back!

We had some plumbing issues, but everything was fixed promptly and properly by the host.

Very peaceful place. The forest house was very nice, clean and comfortable , with large windows. The shared kitchen was well equipped and clean, with large refrigerator. Shared bathroom and toilets were very clean as well. There were blueberries, cranberries and mashrooms right behind the houses. The location is great, the is a short nice hiking trail, where you hike through very natural (almost old grown) forest to cave, red rocks above small lakes. We enjoyed the kajak trip the most of all, arranging everything with the nearby boat rental.

It didn't made our stay less enjoyable but there were some details hosts should improve for other quests :) There was only one toilet paper for 5 people but i hope it was just honest forgetfulness. The extra bed we reserved wasn't ready, but we got it very quickly, although blanket, pillow and bed sheets we received at the reception - so it was quite funny to put it in the car with 4 people, luggage and equipment inside.

The location is great, nature, wood - amazing, especially during winter time. The cabin house has everything for cozy staying, house is warm, view is amazing! We had some difficulties to get back uphills after heavy snowing all the night, but hosts were very helpful, they worked as perfect team!

With bad weather there is limited room in the house. You can go to the communal picknic area. But in bad weather that is not a great place to be.

Loud music, no silence at all, big party group not respecting the rules at all. Internet never works. Stay away from this place if you like a quiet sleep.

Floors in the rooms and on the second floor were not cleaned, and in one bed the bed linen was dirty.

The camping house is new and is equipped with all necessary things, it has an amazing location with a magical view on the forest, ski slope and Gaujas senleja
