Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CroatiaAt night it can get a little bit noisy as all of the rooms are situated very close to one another and isolation is bad.
The location of the hotel is great, as it is located in the old town and only a few minutes away from Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The beds were really comfy and the room was clean. Late check in was possible, and the staff helped us with booking a taxi service back to the airport for a good price (also, they can help you with booking various tours outside of Marrakech if you ask them). They gave us clean towels on demand and printed our boarding passes (you need to have a printed version of boarding pass for the return trip). Overall, it is a good accommodation for travelers on a budget.

SloveniaThe cleanliness of the bathroom was not ideal and the room was below the street level with the window facing a busy street, so it wasn't very quiet at night.
The decor was nice, the staff was helpful and the location is great, right in the heart of Medina. Since the rooms of the type we booked were all taken, we got upgraded to a room with an ensuite bathroom.

United KingdomDespite we arrived late in the night there were problems with checking in. The guys at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room was small and basic, but clean and comfy. The bathrooms and toilets were clean and well stocked with toilet paper (which might be a problem from time to time in Morocco). The hotel is sitting on a very good spot hidden away in the Medina, but just a minute away from the hustle and bustle. They also offer to store your bike box while you are away if you need such service, which is very handy for bike travellers. Fee is something like 5-10 dirhams per day, which is very affordable. All in all very good place to stay in Morocco if you are not too picky.

United States of AmericaI wouldn't say dislike as much as annoyed - a minor quibble. Wifi could not penetrate the thick walls at the distance the room is to the access point. Simply impossible. The workaround is to leave the room door open (not good for privacy), sit in the lobby area (maybe), or go the to the rooftop terrace (best and more than ok option).
Good The room was ok for one person. Everything in the room - including the room itself - was clean and stocked with toiletries. The shower was hot and the bathroom was maintained. Excellent. The front-desk and service was extremely good - much better and more helpful than a certain very expensive hotel near Marrakesh train station. Hotel Aday permits storing luggage for a few days. As before, Hotel Aday is in a very good location to experience to souks, restaurants, and landmarks.

United States of AmericaNot much and not anything worth nitpicking. Noise from the outside meets the norm for a riad room on the ground floor.
The room, private bathroom, blankets, towels, and linens were very clean and the space is more than adequate. The shower water is quite hot - hit or miss at other riad/hotels. Another reviewer said that the shower space is cramped. No it's fine at least to me. Hotel Aday is in as good a location as anything someone is likely to find near Jemaa Fnaa Square - very convenient. The front-room manager was probably the best manager I met in Marrakesh. Concierge level. Luggage storage, tours (at much reduced rate), and availability doesn't necessarily show online due to last minute cancellations, etc. Wifi was adequate (Get the room closest to the front desk and not the rooms further away. Else, go to the rooftop terraces - excellent signal)

United KingdomThe only thing I could really say is that there was only one toilet and shower which wasn't a big problem but was kinda effort for staying on the top floor. Another thing is that there is no AC, which wasn't a problem for visiting when we did in January but in summer it would be roasting.
The staff were super friendly, the room was small but was all you really needed. It is an amazing place to stay on a budget and you are right in the heart of the Medina and its markets. There are good spots for food 2 minutes away, markets right outside, and only a 5 min walk to the main square.
