Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsIf I had to name anything: Marrakech is a noisy city in general- although my partner slept through it easily, I needed earplugs.
We stayed in the deluxe double room (I think it was the Sultana suite) in November, and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was spacious and beautiful, our host was helpful and kind, the wifi was fast and reliable, and we found the location perfect. Everything was within walking distance, but it was also easy to hitch a ride from the nearby square. We loved it so much that we stayed here again at the end of our trip.

GermanyThe bed was really hard but that's the case almost everywhere in Morocco so that's just the spoiled European talking 😝
Very nice owner - he helped me with my boarding pass, good location to explore the Medina, the room is basic but compared to other Moroccan places good, right around the corner there's a big square with taxis

Czech RepublicThe best thing about the whole riad was the host. He was very nice, helpful and willing to talk to us for hours about his country and life. We got an honest look at the ordinary life of a Moroccan. We were not satisfied with the first room and immediately got another one. The riad is located in a great location. The breakfast was also great :-). Thank you

Czech Republic- The bed was small and not comfortable (sagging mattress + high pillow is not the best friend for your neck and back) - The breakfast was below average comparing to other riads we stayed in (first morning we only got bread, butter and jam and had to ask at least for an egg). It might be enough to fullfill the belly of small person however in terms of nutrion it's definitelly not suefficient. It needs more protein, vegetable and fruits.
- Location is good and safe, 10-15min by walk to Kotoubia mosque and we had no issue to find the riad - Towels provided, working furniture in the room including AC - Friendly host

SpainI came to this hostel because I was looking a hostel with a pool to refresh myself after 3 days in the desert. The pool wasn’t working even though I read in Booking that it was. BUT! Abdul offered to cancel the reservation after I told him this, and he was willing to recommend me other places with swimming pools. I said no so he offered a better room to compensate the "inconvenient".
The room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning. The breakfast was really great, prepared in the moment with a lot of care (included coffee, pancakes, marmalade, butter, a little croissant and a french omelette). Abdul is really kind and servicial. The place is close to the center, located in an area full of shops.

SpainThe facility is very clean, well-maintained, and the rooms are quiet for a relaxing night's sleep. The equipment in the rooms is very comfortable. My room was very large, well organized. The staff is very hospitable, very attentive to customers' needs, and they always went above and beyond to meet my every request. They arranged all the cab transfers I needed, they even arranged a henna day in the riad for me to get my tattoos. Within a few days they became family. The breakfast is very good. The location of the riad is really strategic, 1 minute walk from zocco market, but in a quiet lane so you don't hear any noise . The wifi is working well

United KingdomThere is nothing I didn't like about this Raid. One important tip: please do not buy anything from the little shop outside the Raid. When you come out of the Raid and turn left, there's a little corner shop, please do not shop from there. The man/owner is so dishonest and he will deliberately increase the price on the spot and will rsfuse to give you change. A bottle of water is normally no more than 10 Dirham. On my first day, he deliberately increase the price on the spot and charged me 50 Dirham for 2 bottles of water. Please avoid to shop there. The owner/man is so dishonest and he will try to scam you whenever he can. To make the matter wrost, he makes her little daughter to get people/tourists sympathy and makes her sitting opposite to the shop to sell sweets on a little table . Apparently, he is well know of his dishonestly in the area. Be aware and avoid that little shop. Please see the attached photo of that shop Please avoid to buy anything from there
Good location, value for money, very clean and the owner Abdallah and his wife are very kind and super helpful. He has given so many useful advices and tips about my trip in Marrakesh and the tours around the area His wife is a fantastic cook too.. I will strongly recommend this Raid for anyone who are planning to stay in Marrakech.

PortugalThe only thing we would like was that our room could had stronger lights.
The thing we liked the most was the host, he was very gentle and friendly. He gave us a lot of tips which was very helpful. The host arrange our transfer from the airport and the driver left us near the riad without any problems. The riad is very beautiful, has a nice terrace and a little pool, perfect for refreshing our legs after hiking all day. The location is good and it's not too far from the center. We strongly recommend this riad.

I had an amazing 3-night stay here. Magic is a fantastic host, welcoming me like a family, and provided me with lots of useful information around Marrakesh. He was very responsive whenever I needed help, either in person or over chat. The location is very convenient, just 2-minute walk from the taxi drop-off point and inside a quiet and safe street. Every main attractions are within 20-minute walk including the main square and YSL garden. The room is clean and comfortable, and I really like the pool in the lobby. Wifi is very good. I would definitely come back if I visit Marrakesh next time and would recommend everyone to do the same. Thank you Magic for your hospitality!

Australiaall was exceptionally exceptional
The décor is very rustic and tasteful all Marrakech style with a rooftop. Especially loved the pool, such a welcoming relief at the end of a hot day walking around Marrakech. Majik the manager was a blessing giving me tips on how to maximize and enjoy my time there so much so I stayed on for a further 3 days and did his suggested desert tour! Thank-you for your hospitality and wonder filled memories of my time in Dar Narjis and Marrakesh! So magik-cal!
