A lovely charming riad set in the heart of the Medina in Essaouira. A very short walk away from the bustling port and the market, it was the perfect place to base ourselves during our short trip in Essaouira. The staff were extremely kind and generous. They were attentive to our needs at all times. Breakfast was filling and so delicious. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay.

The only issue we encountered was the noise at night - but I guess this is part of booking a place so close to the centre of the action! Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, but don’t rule out Dar Ness for great value in Essaouira.

Dar Ness was just as described and shown - immaculate and well-appointed rooms surrounding a beautiful courtyard. We had two rooms booked, both of which were spacious with high quality, comfortable bedding and beautiful Moroccan tiled bathrooms. Breakfast was lovely, as were the friendly helpful staff. There was space to leave luggage after check-out if you need to wait for transportation. The location is excellent, the entry tucked away in an alleyway off a bustling square, close to the sea, and surrounded by many restaurants and stores. It was the perfect spot to spend a couple of days exploring Essaouira. There was a rooftop with tables and chairs to enjoy a birdseye view, and we enjoyed being able to visit this space.

Charming Riad, friendly and accomodating staff! The location was great, with a parking within a short walking distance. Nice simple breakfast in the courtyard. The room was comfortable and clean, albeit a bit noisy from a the rooftop bar nearby

There is a roof terrace pub that plays music very loud in the night until 1am, and it is difficult to sleep. There were some humidity spots in the bathroom.

Beautiful staff, welcoming and extremely kind. Charming location, elegant and traditional at the same time. Rooms were very clean and supplied with inebriating Moroccan’s soap and bath towels. We love this structure and the lovable people that work for it. We hope we will return soon

The bar/ryad next door was a bit noisy, but we have to consider that it was Saturday night

Absolutely nothing. I could see some people complaining about the noise, but I definitely did not have the same experience.

I really liked everything, but I'd like to highlight the location and the staff, especially Mustafa, who looked after us incredibly well. The place is also very beautiful and the breakfast delicious. I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly and can't wait to be back.

The only downside is the noise from the nightclub next door.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the whole hotel perfectly located within the Medina. The host, Mustafa, was extraordinarily nice and prepared very tasty breakfast each morning! We can definitely recommend the place :)
