Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe loved staying in this Riad, it gave us a taste of a traditional Moroccan lifestyle. It was very clean, the staff were accommodating when we arrived early & were helpful when we needed to ask for anything.

United KingdomNothing!
Fantastic place, with a large double garage next door to park up our motorbikes overnight. This place is huge and is three riads, all stuck together. The rooms are gorgeous and the riad is only 20 minutes walk from the main square. Parking for motorcycles is 5 euros in the garage. We didn't eat at the riad but the food looked delicious. Breakfast was ok and they kept running out of coffee! Great host and a lovely place to stay.

NorwayThe location, but is what it is, but is safe. It´s more the perception of far from everything, that is in reality.
The Riad is beautiful. The staff are very polite. The breakfast was good. I loved the marocoo dinner experience, very romantic and intimate. They are always cleaning.

United KingdomThere wasn’t anything that we didn’t like, the location was a little bit far from the medina, about 20 minutes walk.
We liked the decor, we had a deluxe room with a private sauna and roof terrace which we were not expecting and made the experience even better. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and they gave us biscuits upon arrival which was a nice touch and really tasty.

United KingdomWe spent a bit more money because we liked the look of the pool, but the photos are a bit deceptive as it's very small, so we didn't use it. The location is about a 20 minute walk from Djemaa el Fna, so not super central.
Riad Le Perroquet Bleu was a gorgeous and luxurious experience. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the breakfast (which is included) was great, but make sure you get down early (not too close to 10am!) The beds were extremely comfortable, bathrooms really clean, and if you stay more than one night the beds are made for you. Nice soap, shampoo and shower gel are provided. Lots of wardrobe space. The tiled baths are amazing! WiFi worked well. Overall highly recommend if you're willing to spend a bit more.

United States of AmericaIt would be better if the tax requirements and corresponding documentation could be clarified earlier. The tax I paid at this hotel is higher than what I paid at another hotel in the same city, and I don't know why.
Breakfast is excellent, and all the staff are nice and enthusiastic.

United KingdomThe riad was absolutely stunning, a corner of heaven in the bustling city. Spotless cleaning and polite staff made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you visit the place I would not want to miss the hammam and massage which was blissfully good. Thank you for making our first time in Marrakesh so memorable 💖

United Kingdom- The traditional maroccan dinner was below our expectations (the food overall was insipid - mixed salads were simple and basic; the tarte aux pommes was burned; the rest was OK...); plus, the tea included in the menu was not brought to us. - [note: the hammam service is provided by external professionals] The hammam experience has been by far the worst experience of the whole trip to Marrakech... we paid 120€ for 2 people for 30 min hammam + 1h massage, and we could not relax at all! The steam room was not warm enough and overall seemed non-hygienic; the mat we lied down onto had several spots of mold on it; the two ladies chatted the whole time we were there (even about us and my skin eczema); the hammam session lasted more than 30 min (although the wrapping, scrubbing and rinsing only lasted approx 2-3 min each with long waiting times), whereas the massage lasted less than 1h; the massage room was cold; the masssage itself was not professional and relaxing at all - at some point one of the 2 ladies started yawning (it happened several times during the massage) and weirdly scratched my girlfriend skin with her nails, even after she pointed it out.
- The riad is very nice and well maintained, with 3 characteristic internal court yards and typical architecture - The position is strategic; not in the middle of the chaotic medina but within a walkable distance (15-20 min) - Our room was very cozy and spacious, with a nice private terrace and local typical furnishing - The riad staff was overall friendly and helpful (with some exceptions)
