Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Knight time was bit noisy!!

All the staff was nice as well as the receptionist Hajar who was so kind. She was available to all my requests It wasn’t my first time there and won’t be the last for sure

1. Firstly I was placed in a room next to the rooftop bar, music could be heard 2. No hot water, and water was brown. Reception advised to wait 10 mins, after 15mins tested again still no hot water. Called reception again, they advised to wait, and sent someone up and all they did was run the water (which I already had). In the end I had to go down and complain, receptionist shrugged his shoulders and said it’s because I am on the 5th floor. I asked to be moved and speak to the manager. Manager went off with the service man. 20 mins later I had water. In total I wasted an hour of my evening (New Years Eve) and was very late to go and get some food. 3. As I arrived I requested a transfer to the airport, was advised to sort in the am. I went out for dinner and came back and asked again. I was advised I would need to leave a deposit. Arrange the time and requested that I did not wait in reception or wait too long at the airport. Firstly I arrive at the specific time of 6am, no taxi was there, had to wait 30mins. Taxi arrived, not a taxi, was taken to the airport which took 20mins where as the receptionist advised it takes an hour. Had to wait in the cold airport as a single female traveler as checkin was not open! 4. I witnessed two men carry out a drunk woman, I was concerned for the woman and the staff just laughed and said she was drunk. A hotel has a duty to look after their guests and ensure they are ok. Not great for a single woman traveler, felt unsafe area. Some staff were lovely but not all. Would not recommend.

On arrival told only took cash whereas Booking said credit cards. As bill for 4 nights was about £400 unsurprisingly didn't have that amount or wish to use cash machine rate of exchange. This statement was changed to card machine broken and on our last day it was apparently fixed. Had to hassle reception every day till this happened. Restaurant only had overpriced buffet. Only bar was nightclub type place on roof run independently. Bathroom bit of a shambles. Plastic bath cracked so I worried would leak on to ceiling below. Toilet permanently flushing till you hit flush button again.1
Location in new town but walkable to old, adjacence to mall with supermarket. Balcony very large with great view unfortunately no proper furniture though.

The room was not clean... We found someone's hair. Shower is not hot enough. Rooftop's night club was so noisy until midnight. We couldn't sleep early. And daytime, they had construction... Again so noisy.
Swimming pool was clean and big enough, not crowded, we could enjoyed.

Youssef at the reception was very profesional and helpful, the check in was smooth and the room very cosy, at the bar the service from Fetah quick and organised, in general i had a nice stay.

everything was ok, i recommend it!
I liked the hotel has oriental style and it is different, cozy and you feel like home in here. This is the kind of accomodation you would like to spend more than 1 night to feel it and to enjoy the beautiful view, the pictures, the colors. Very good services! We will definetely come back again :)
