Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSlightly cold room but there was a fan heater in it. You could hear everything outside in the alleyway.
Stopped here for one night on our way down to the Sahara on motorbikes. Unfortunately, we got in quite late so didn't get a chance to look around town. The riad is right in the middle of the old town but the owner advised us of secure parking outside the city walls, only a 10 minute walk away. You need google maps to find the place though! Parking didn't seem secure but when 5 of us arrived on motorcycles, the parking attendant moved a barrier and allowed us to park up right next to his sleeping cabin. He watched over our bikes all night for 5 euros each. A good traditional dinner can be had at the riad for about 100 dirhams each. Room was comfortable (narrow stairs to get up to it) and breakfast ample.

The property is located in the medina, its a 5 min walk from lahdim square. The host, Hassan, was amazing. As soon as we entered the Riad he was lovely and very welcoming. Explained how they operated and what was nearby, all the sightseeing places and where to go. I can say that our stay was definitely a 10/10 experience mainly because of Hassan. My friend and i went to Meknes for a wedding and came back at around 5am. Hassan made sure that we were able to enter the Riad without any fuss. Will 100% book in the future!

United States of AmericaThere was an odor in the bathroom which they clearly had been working on but it had not been solved during our stay.
Hassan is a gem. He greeted us with most welcome tea and cookies and answered our questions in perfect English. Hassan gave us a map with an outline of a route to take to the sites we wanted to visit. The next day he arranged for our travel to Volubilis and even provided us with a rain coat and umbrella (fortunately they were not needed.) We enjoyed his attentive service at all our meals and visiting a little. It was so quiet at night.

SwitzerlandThe personnel was extremely kind, making us feel right at home, and allowed us to have a look at how the amazing food is being prepared. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. While the riad is not directly in the medina, you can reach it on foot within a three minute walk, and its location allows you to park at very close proximity if you are travelling by car. We absolutely recommend it!

TurkeyI was okay with the location since my travel purposes was different but it might be juuuuust a bit far away from the center of madina for some people. But if you don’t have any problem with your feet you have stay in this riad people. It is so cozy, calm and quiet.
It was 2 nights accommodation at first but I extended it for another 2 nights so I stayed in this riad for four nights in total. I booked twin bed but they offered me that I can stay in whatever room I want. The riad has an amazingly decorated terrace and it has an amazing view especially for sunrises that made me stay up early in the morning. The breakfast was excellent. Everybody and everything was so nice and good in every aspect. But most importantly Hassan the host made me feel like I’m visiting a friend, even a family member. He is very kind, helpful and trustworthy. I’ll always appreciate the yellow handmade present that he gave me. And of course I definitely will stay in this place if I ever visit Meknes again.

United States of AmericaRiad Lahboul is conveniently located near the plaza Lehdim which, at the time of the visit, was being renovated. The generous breakfast served every morning at the riad was enough to keep anyone going for the day. The bed, in the room I stayed in, was very comfortable. That's a big plus for me. What was remarkable is the outstanding customer service provided by the manager, Hassan. Always available for guidance and for any questions I had. I also got to meet the rest of the friendly team who contributed to the comfort of this memorable stay.

AustraliaThe rooms smelt a bit like donkey as they were many in the medina. No fault of the riad, but we had to close the windows to minimise the smell.
This was the most beautifully decorated riad during our 10 days trip in Morocco. Common area is also very beautiful like being in a museum. We had a rental car and parked at the second one near the shop. One of us stayed in the car and another went to the riad. Then the staff came out to the parking slot with me, so we didn’t have to worry about the parking fee. We paid 20 DH for 24 hour. It was a short distance from the parking to the riad 400m.

United KingdomWould have been better to have a proper crib for the toddler. Also the bathroom of the room we stayed in was a little tight. The AC was not well directed to the beds, making it challenging to be more efficient.
The staff was very helpful all the time. The Riad is well located, very close to a big car park nearby. The breakfast was good and well presented.
