Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I don't have any particular negative comments about the hotel because my stay was successful. But it seems to me that the hotel should consider the possibility of diversifying the breakfasts during the week, which were very good, but a bit monotonous for a longer holiday stay, such as 7-14 days. It is worth considering this seriously due to competition in other facilities. You can't rely on the fact that guests will come anyway, because there are more sunny days in Malta than on the mainland, there are many competing destinations within 3-4 hours of flight.
This was our second stay at the beHotel and we are really pleased that the facility once again met our expectations. Great location near an intimate sandy beach with bars, which in the case of Malta is not so obvious due to the cliff nature of the island. It is worth emphasizing that there is an excellent swimming pool with a bar on the roof of the hotel. Near the hotel there are clubs for people who love nightlife, it can be a bit loud, but after all, we are talking about a holiday destination, everything for people looking for a break from everyday life. It is worth emphasizing that the hotel staff was very committed to make our stay successful. Martina Calanna, who worked at the reception, helped me a lot with changing the room due to the need to choose the right bed for my son. It is very nice to deal while you are on the vacation with a committed, professional and always polite person, it is an added value for the hotel and gives a sense of security to the guests, I have no doubt about it. At busiest times, like right after breakfast, needed to wait 15 min for the elevator. Were almost late for an excursion because of this. Could use clearer signs to stairs as we found one but it didn't lead to anywhere, just like to the basement 😀
Very good, central location, close to beach, shops, party street. Very clean hotel, great breakfast, great staff. The roof pool was amazing, super view, super staff, just like in the pictures. Very convenient that reception is 24/7 as we checked in and out at night. Reception staff arranged everything for take away breakfast, as we were leaving to airport at night, even though we asked too late for it.

Limited number of lifts (only 2) for the amount of people staying at the hotel. Probably 2 more needed.
Excellent facilities and pool area with a great view, nice welcoming touches with complimentary local snacks and soft drinks in the room, delicious breakfast with a lot of options and a very friendly staff.

The beach nearby is not great. But not the hotel's fault and you can easily reach other nice beaches only 20m, by Bolt. The only annoying thing was that the staff called the room almost every day asking if we need anything, which can be disturbing if you are sleeping for example.
Excelent hotel overall. The rooftop pool is amazing. Very Friendly staff. The room was impecable cleaned everyday. Very good breakfast. Excellent location within walking distance to a broad range of restaurants and bars and night clubs. Highly recommended

Great hotel, very well located right by the sea in a shopping center with many shops, bars and restaurants. This great location means that there is no problem with purchasing the necessary items. The elevator will take you everywhere, to the shopping center and to the two swimming pools located on the 4th and 11th floors, but also of course to your room. There is also a gym and a jacuzzi next to the pool on the 4th floor. The rooftop pool has plenty of sun loungers and seating, and there is also a bar serving a variety of food and drinks. You can fill fresh water into empty bottles from free vending machines located on the 4th and 0th floors. Very clean rooms, cleaned every day by very polite and professional maids. Great and rich breakfasts will keep you full until the evening. Freshly squeezed orange juice makes you start the day with a smile and great coffee puts you on your feet. The wonderful and always helpful staff of this hotel makes you want to come back again. We had a superior room with partial sea and city views including breakfast.

We had someone enter our hotel room after we checked in and adjust our bedding? Even with the DND sign up.. It was a bit odd but it didnt happen again after the first night (we stayed 5 nights). Also there was some construstion going on ourside of our room in the hallway that we could hear in our room.. these are all probably one time circumstances though!
This hotel is imbedded in a mall/shopping area, so there's a lot of stuff to do nearby. The hotel room was very clean and the rooftop pool was fun to hang out at when you don't want to go down to the beach. The staff was always kind and helpful

The hotel was nice and clean.All employees were very nice and attentive. We liked our breakfast time at the cafeteria. They have an extensive buffet where you can find both salty and sweet. Everybody was nice especially Pooja who was running around keeping everything nice and clean. The pool upstairs is amazing and you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the bay and have a nice early dinner (we did). We highly recommend Hotel Be if you are visiting Malta. .
