Room was a bit smaller than I expected and the bathroom a bit dated . The silicon seals need renewing around sink and bath and the toilet seat also.. Otherwise fine.

Location perfect, Nice sea view and comfortable room. Very non fussy type of place just a small reception and lift to rooms. The staff I met were very friendly and efficient.

Our room window opens onto a ventilation tunel (dark), I think that is why it has a good price, but for one night it is okay. And I am sure there are several others with sea view windows.

A great value for money accomondation. The bad was quite convenient, pleasant surprise.

The room booked did not have the facilities described on the Booking.com website and bookimng agreement. There was NO Television services to the room. Pictures of the Room on the Booking.com website show a kettle and cups in the room --- They do not exist!!! you are told to use communal facility on the 7th floor. When mentioned to the hotel reception they had little interest. On check out, I was told that the city tax had not been paid, but after 15 minutes of checking staff found that it had been, Reception take the City Taxes and a deposit for the TV remote / Air condition remotes but do not give receipts to the customers. On 2 occasions the balcony chairs (due to age and sun/heat pn the PVC)collapsed Legs broke whils seated, on the firsdt occasion when reporting to reception the staff member stated how did the leg break there was no interest or consern if I had been injured or hurt during the event. The towels in the room are very small and overall very tierd condition. I have stayed at the Sliema Chalet for more than 10 years, apart from a New matress on the bed and upgraded A/C to a spli unit there have been no changes. There is no storage room for your luggage it is kept in the reception area. There was little on the roof terrace chairs and sunbeds very limited availability I would have liked to recommend this hotel, but alas I must say, this was possibly my last visit as though the room rate makes the hotel attactive.

A lot of noise from the street, room smaller then they advertise, lack of a refrigerator and the room could be renewed (properly painted at least).

The view of the terrace, everybody on the reception was really nice and location.

The hotel is really dated and needs investment and a full refurb. It did give a bit of the 2000's feeling.

The view is absolutely fantastic! Sliema promenade just a few meters away. The staff at reception was really friendly and the room was cleaned properly.

The staffs I met today were unbelievable. I paid the city tax of 2 euro at the second day. But when I check out they asked me again to paid for it. I told them I have given you the money and they said no record. When I told them to check the video a staff even laughed. What were you laughing at？ What so funny？ It seems like I told the lie for just 2 euro. I didn't get the receipt But it's their mistake not mine. Their bad attitude ruined all the good memories I had in Malta. I thought I will live back to this hotel before I left, But now, I think this is not gonna happen. I feel so humiliated.

I stayed in 2 rooms and the first in the first floor wasn't that nice as the 7th floor, the second was amazing!

The prices in October was good for the location The staff was very nice, specially Teresa from the reception and also, Andres from facilities. Highly recommended both of them

The electrics sparked off and nearly electrocuted my sister and damaged our plug. This was resolved by providing us with an extension lead. No plug sockets by the bed. No kettle in the room. The toilet stopped flushing and we were told the whole hotel was affected.

Nothing. However if you are a light sleeper then I wouldn’t recommend staying here as there was a lot of traffic noise as it’s on the main road.

The location was ideal to explore the island and the bus stop was just along the road so it was easy to travel everywhere.

There wasn't a lot of places to charge your phone inside the room.

The room was very clean and it was taken care of every day.The beds were comfortable and the view was majestic.

Bathroom VERY tired and scruffy. Enamel peeling off of bath, plugs didn't fit. Shower was just attachment type. Toiletries was just one bodywash/shampoo (luckily took my own) Bedroom the same. Fittings wonky (I have OCD) Curtains hard to draw. Paintwork/plaster under dressing table area scuffed/damaged. Lots of electric plug choices but need to be by the bed as well.

Location was close to ferries and bus pick ups. Reception staff very friendly and helpful

The bathroom should be renovated, the room should have a kettle for tea and coffee. There is no stove, microwave, knives or basic kitchen items in the shared kitchen.

Wonderful and friendly staff, large roof terrace with a wonderful view of the sea, close to the bus station, promenade, close to the center and shops. Big room and comfortable beds.

I was on the 3rd floor it was very noisy with cleaners etc in morning. Also the walls very badly insulated could hear people talking loudly. I tried to cancel reservation before I arrived, I sent numerous messages on booking.com and they never responded to me. Maybe sea view room would be better.

Chinese receptionist at Night was a nice guy.
