Nice jungle setting room with excellent restaurant and pool. Breakfasts were good

    • Standard Bungalow

The room had very marginal WIFI reception to the point it was unusable and we advised the hotel they really need to address this as for the travelling tourist (well for us anyway in planning activities and next stay is a must in the room). The room is generous but i didn’t like the shower area not having a door (privacy for the potential four adults who may not want to see one another naked) or the large window which exposes the same naked body to someone walking past outside - low probability but I prefer my showers without risk of a maintenance worker or one of my room mates accidentally wondering past. This could be addressed by a fix that effectively closes the supplied curtain

We were attracted to this place to book by the offer of free bicycles which we used to explore Coba township on first morning (don’t take them to the ruins). The place offered so much more with its jungle like setting, pool, EXTREMELY good food in the restaurant and service in general. It had a pool and conference air conditioned space as part of the restaurant also which we did actually use for a late night conference call. Good Attentative staff and a personal introduction to our spacious room which suited our three adults.

Fix the sign so it is easier to find.

The hotel was very nice but it was very difficult to find, even though it is located on the main road. Google Maps took us to a very different destination. Look for a Starbucks sign, because the hotel’s sign is hard to see from the road. Otherwise everything was good. The bonus point is for the bikes they provide. It gave us a unique experience to ride around and all the way to Coba.

Price is way to high for what you get. On top of that you need to pay extra for coffee if you want coffee during breakfast while the breakfast is included.

The continental breakfast is very limited and doesn't include coffee due to their partnership with Starbucks. The pillows were uncomfortable. Unfortunately a black mould issue was identified in the room and apparently common due to humidity. Hotel is sort of in the middle of nowhere so a car is must.

The bathrooms are magnificent. The pool and gardens are beautiful. The restaurant for lunch and dinner is exceptional. Best tortillas and food we had in Mexico.

The pool wasn't super clean. The breakfast was served late (supposedly opened ay 7.30, and the person showed up and started prepping like at 7.35) so if you want to make it to the ruins before 8AM is tight. The breakfast was also pretty lame, just a banana, 2 toasts with butter and not even coffee was included. I was charged like 80 pesos for a mediocre cappuccino that I ordered at breakfast.

Spatious clean room, with good working AC. Beautiful garden and friendly staff. 3 mins from town and the ruins

The walls are quite thin and so you can hear the neighbours.

The place is stunning. I could spend a long time here. The sauna and gym were a great bonus after weeks of tacos and tequila. A salt bath in the room was the last thing I expected on a backpackers budget but was a very welcome surprise. The restaurant next door is fantastic too, amazing value all round.

No TV but that’s ok and think the hotel should put a small pool cleaning net to clean out the private pools. The bar was not operating but the hotel is small so could be due to low guest attendance.

Comfy bed, modern room, private pool, location in the jungle but right off the road. The bathroom was luxury and huge. Hotel within 5 mins from Coba ruins.

There was water under our bed when we got there, don’t know if there was a leak or something else. They call it continental breakfast but you actually get only two slices of bread, two slices of cheese, a banana, and an orange juice. Coffee was not included, we had to pay for it. The bikes were kind of old (rusted and breaks working badly and btw, the ruins don’t let you use the hotel bike on the inside and no one told us about it).

Our room was really big. The bed was great. The nature around was beautiful, and the pool was nice. Bathroom was super clean and spacious.

I regret that I did not decide to stay longer at the resort and the city. Due to my limited time, I did not fully enjoy the benefits of the facilities like the spa or the swimming pool enough. There are so many things to enjoy near the resort and I am pretty confident that the staff will help you plan. So if I need to recommend I would say at least four nights and enjoy their facilities and restaurant.

It is a great place to escape from the busy city life. In the resort, everything is better than what you will typically anticipate. The suites are cozy and provide enough outdoor private space. I only tried breakfast in their restaurant and overate. I would especially recommend the traditional dishes with a Starbucks coffee. Their staff are friendly and willing to ensure a better stay.

Attention to detail was a bit of a let down. It seemed like the property was a little ran down, and needed more maintenance than was given. There was a Nespresso machine in our room but no capsules were given, we had to ask for them each morning. The staff were nice but to my judgement lacked expertise.

The bed was very comfy, the private swimming pool was nice. Beautiful well kept garden, nice and kind staff.
