Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesThe breakfast was the only low point of our stay. It could be greatly improved. Some bread, for starters, maybe croissants, pastries, would be nice?
The room we got was very large and spacious. The AC was a blessing and worked well! The room had everything that one could want. The B&B, perched on the heights, had a lovely outlook to the sunset and the town below. Having a drink while watching the sun set and chatting with other guests made for a very pleasant evening. The host, Viktor, was very gracious and kind and full of information on the town. We would definitely recommend this place and return.

United States of AmericaIt is up on the hill in a more remote part of town. It looks close to town but it’s quite steep/but you’re better off using taxi/uber, about 80-100 pesos to/from city center.
I loved everything about my stay at this property! It’s essentially a house with four really incredible guestrooms. The main living room offers stunning views of San Miguel de Allende! Breakfast was lovely and you could request it in the privacy of your own room. Didn’t use the hot tub on the roof but I did make use the steam bath. And my Japanese bathtub in my room was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious and relaxing. Owner was extremely responsive via WhatsApp. A hidden gem and a wonderful stay!

United States of AmericaNothing; everything was great.
Everything about our stay was wonderful. Viktor is a generous and caring host, and we enjoyed getting to know him. Breakfast was healthy and delicious. Room was spacious with comfortable beds, and good Internet connection. Bathroom offered a tub and shower. There were even robes to wear when using the hot tub and sauna. I also used Viktor's exercise equipment. One of the reasons we chose Cuna del Cielo was its location, because it is away from the city center and very quiet, and also because it's right next door to the Botanical Gardens so it's just a quick walk to the entrance. We definitely would like to return with friends and family and spend more time at Viktor's lovely home.

United States of AmericaThere is nothing I did not like.
Cuna del Cielo truly is a slice of heaven! The ambiance is relaxed and beautiful and it is evident how much thought was put into creating it. Every detail is attended to and it makes you feel warm and welcome. From the home-cooked breakfasts to the attentive staff and quiet spaces all around the property to relax and breathe, it is truly special. With the fresh flowers in the room, the super comfortable beds with impeccable linens, and thoughtful touches like French press coffee in the room, you will be blown away! The staff is extremely kind and always available to answer questions and provide assistance. The sunsets from the rooftop each night are fantastic, this is an experience more than a stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the essence of life in Mexico. Also, the botanical gardens are a ten-minute walk and not to be missed, great free guided tours!

JapanI wasn't sure about the breakfast system, so I asked the woman who was there if I could have breakfast, and she made it. However, I was confused because she was cooking on the phone, and by the time it was served, I was served something cold. No one was there on the second day.
I made a reservation as if it was a hotel, but the facility had an air B & B atmosphere. The facilities were better than I imagined in a good way, and the room had a calm atmosphere.

MexicoThe reviews set a high bar, but we never expected such an amazing place, possibly the most beautiful we've stayed at in Mexico. And the views over the botanical garden make it unique! Kudo's also for Victor as host & Fabi for the healthy food & delicious breakfast. We'll definitely come back!

MexicoEverything was amazing. Victor has created an environment totally dedicated to physical and spiritual rest and relaxation. Everything from the views, the interior design, the ambience, the food, the personal attention by Victor and his staff was spectacular. As a bonus it is very close to downtown. While walkable downhill, I wouldn't recommend the return walking as streets become a steep climb. We will visit again for sure.

CanadaFrom the moment you walk into Cuna del Cielo you feel there is something special about the place! This is not your average stay. It is a captivating oasis that provides a profound experience with nature, stillness, presence and sophisticated simplicity. The energy of this home slows you down, it's nourishing and restorative- so much so that you might not even want to leave and explore the surroundings. The sunset view of San Miguel de Allende is spectacular especially as you enjoy the hot tub or morning view during the tasty and authentic Mexican breakfast and healthy smoothies. Every single detail is carefully thought of by the wonderful and kind host-Viktor. We loved doing the hot- cold circuit - the sauna followed by the natural pool with very curious fish . It was so refreshing and rejuvenating! The bedroom with a king size bed was very comfortable, spacious and beautifully designed. I loved that there was no television. The home feels very secure and a perfect location which is about 20min walk downhill into town and then after a great meal you can enjoy an uphill walk which is the perfect way to end the evening! There are many more amazing things to say about Cuna del Cielo but that would take up a whole lot of space.... highly recommend and cannot wait to be back for a longer stay!!

Cuna del Cielo is the hidden gem of San Miguel de Allende. A beautiful, holistic property with a healing ambience, extremely inviting staff, and an amazing host - Viktor. Our five day stay exceeded all expectations and we marvel at our luck in finding such a wonderful experience. From the exceptional superfood chai tea to Fabi’s homemade breakfasts, this property is beyond compare. Also huge to consider is the double filtration system of water throughout the property. Treat yourself to one of the many wellness therapies including the sauna, jacuzzi, natural pool, infrared bed…all included in your stay. Wonderfully accessible to the center of town and a beautiful way to explore the city, a morning jaunt downtown is perfect for the walking enthusiasts. Surrounded by the botanical gardens, the views are breathtaking. The host and owner, Viktor is extremely accommodating, communicative, generous, kind, and very knowledgeable about the city…we can’t say enough good things. Cuna del Cielo was our home away from home, and the staff like family. Leaving was a jolt reality after an exemplary vacation and stay. For a wonderfully organic and exceptional stay, look no further.

CunaDelCielo is an amazing place with spectacular views and quiet isolation - - yet only 15 minutes walk down to El Centro. Cab ride back is $5. Sitting above the botanical garden, it is a modern day version/contrast to the in-town classic colonial Antigua Villa Santa Monica which sits above Jardin Benito Juarez. Victor and Vanebcia are very attentive to your needs and went out of their way to buy a lap top platform for us after our suggestion. Our room ahd a multi-track slider which allowed a wide opening to the private exterior garden. An indoor/outdoor walk-in shower was an added touch. A beautifully designed water-course flows through the complex's individual units culminating in an amazing swimming pool with fish. The commons area is spacious, custom furnishings, light-filled - - like being a guest in a high-end home. Can't recommend this place enough! We'll be back.

Staying at Cuna del Cielo was for sure the most special and incredible experience I've ever had with any kind of hotel/guesthouse. The space is absolutely stunning, combining the best of architecture, decoration, good taste, comfort and great energy. I spent incredible days there and I can't wait to go back. Viktor was super kind, receptive, easy to communicate and a great talk. The view from the property is incredible and being a little away from the center and on top of the mountain really made the difference so that I could enjoy San Miguel and relax. The internet was also a highlight as I had to work from there. I will definitely come back and I recommend it with my eyes closed to anyone who wants a beautiful place to relax, enjoy and rest.
