Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere’s really nothing to complain about, except the mosquitoes 🦟 …😅
It was a spacious Mexican family house that was renovated into a small hotel. It has everything you need and the price was reasonable.

CanadaMore comfortable seating in the courtyards, maybe some cushions on the chairs & loungers. The toaster in the kitchen does not work.
The rooms were large and everything was clean. They let me do laundry for free. It has a backpacker / hostel type vibe with lots of communal areas. Pet friendly and fully fenced, keeping our pups safe. They gave us pet dishes and poop baggies on arrival. Free coffee bar. Nice clean pool. We felt very safe, walked to the malecon many times.

CanadaFormer residence with shared kitchen. Originally wondered about shared kitchen but found it worked well with everything one could conceivably need. Small premises with four rooms/suites and I pretty well had place to myself. Really liked this location, 2 blocks to trendy neighbourhood with lots of high quality restaurants. Further 2 or 3 blocks to Malecon and Ocean. Wonderfully pleasant to be out of short walk in the evening.

CanadaA big factor in booking this was for he airport collection, which I requested at the time of my booking. The day before I flew I was told there would be no collection, which was disappointing. The coffee and drinking water at the property were always empty for the few days that I stayed.
Great room, good location and a good price. I didn't meet the hosts but communication was exceptional. It was great to have the use of a washing machine too!

United StatesThe hotel's location is excellent, with a variety of room types and a fantastic staff. We've stayed here multiple times and always enjoy it. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. Situated just a short walk from the malecon and charming streets of La Paz, the location is unbeatable. Rooms vary in size and décor but are uniformly cozy and clean. The common areas are tastefully decorated, and the well-equipped kitchen includes a guest-accessible washer. Parking is provided onsite, allowing you to park and forget about your car for the duration of your stay. We will continue recommending this hotel to our friends and will definitely return.

Canada-- furnishings in room were very cheap looking -- poor room lighting -- way overpriced.....in past years I would have paid $25/night for this type of room!
-- host was nice enough to come around and let me in after not receiving the door code (communication breakdown) -- it was quiet

United StatesMy friend thought the bedspread could be cleaner I thought it was fine. We thought we wanted the ping-pong table, but in the end it didn’t matter. It would’ve been nice if there were pillows or cushions on the benches.
It was quiet. It was near our favorite restaurant a couple blocks away. I like the neighborhood. The kitchen was amazing. It had everything. There was good water to fill your bottles. Helpful staff. Good parking. There is a nice courtyard to hang out with that lit at night.

United StatesWe would have liked clean towels midweek and seeing someone just check on us occasionally. We almost felt as though we were house sitting for someone gone for a week.
I thought that I had rented an efficiency apartment. Instead, each room is a nice bedroom with huge, great shower. The very large and well equipped kitchen and dining room are shared spaces. The other guests barely used them, so they were mostly ours. Same with nice outside patio. We were able to use the free washing machine and clothes line. Only saw our host, Israel, on arrival. The nice woman, Ceci, who cleans was only seen twice, although she must have come daily. The neighborhood felt very safe. All of the tourist area of La Paz seems mixed, with grocery store next to a vacant building, next to private homes and a restaurant. We like walking around, and liked the lack of tourist glitz in the neighborhood. Most visitors to La Paz seemed to be Mexican families. Rode the public "Beach Bus" from the Tourist Bus Station for $4 one way (leaves and returns hourly) to Tecolote Beach. No need for taxi, Uber. Very nice, and again, lots of Mexican families. No TV in the house, which we liked. Good wifi. Coffee making supplies always available, as well as pure water from 5 gallon container.

United StatesThe courtyard was nice but lacked comfortable seating.
Property located in a mixed family/business neighborhood about 6 blocks away from the malecon. While there were several abandoned buildings in the neighborhood, the neighborhood was friendly and we felt safe day and night. The kitchen was well stocked for anyone wanting to prepare their own meals.

United StatesThere did not appear to be any hot water in the shower and the shower head needed cleaning--the spray wasn't very strong because of mineral build up.
It was clean, quiet and easy to walk to from downtown. It was easy to get into the property and find my room. I liked having an in-room bathroom.

It was very close to the Malecon, restaurants, grocery and convenience stores. The room was clean and comfortable and the shared kitchen had everything you could need. The staff was very accommodating, going out of their way for me to store my bag while I went on a kayak trip ended though my coming and going was outside of their regular office hours.

United StatesThe neighborhood was full of abandoned buildings and graffiti. The staff was unhelpful, unwelcoming and absent. The pool is unheated, and above ground, even though you cannot see that looking at the pictures online. The outdoor furniture was dirty and broken. The kitchen pans were scratched and unusable. The water pressure trickled off and on. Things were worn down and dirty. They had workers painting and fixing things in the common spaces all the time and we could not relax in peace outside the room. Everyday the garbages in the common areas were overflowing. They did not provide housekeeping. No dryer and the laundry line was shared by all so there was frequently no space to dry clothes if you washed. I rented a bike and brought it inside the gate for 10 minutes while I packed a bag to go to the beach, and afterwards I got an email from the "administration" telling me I needed to notify them if I wanted to store a bike there! They also contacted me after I reported some problems with Booking.com and told me I needed to remove my complaints to further stay on the property. I would have gladly left but I paid for a week in advance. Mistake.
They provided clean drinking water.

Belgium- The room is really hot. The air conditioning barely keep the room around 24_25 °C. It is clearly under-dimensioned. But they provide a fan to help out !
- The location is not far away from the coast. 10 min walk and you are there. - the kitchen availability, the fridge and the free laundry !
