Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThe breakfast was not as expected, very limited choices and food quantity with paid extras. Toilet in the room clogging every now and then, lack of toilet brush. No chair in the room. Spa sessions with extra costs and European prices. Very low lights in the room and lack of accessible electric plugs.
The staff was very friendly and always available, giving us the best tips and suggestions. The pool and the decorations of the facility. Free drinking water that you could refill every time.

United KingdomOnly one thing (which really lets the place down): on check in I paid my room but was charged in Pesos (all their prices are quoted in US Dollars) but at a very disadvantageous rate from USD. They apply a “house FX rate” which effectively bumped up the confirmed rate in USD by another $11 - not huge but the principle is offensive. Charge my card in USD if you quote in USD, or else quote your rates in MEX and charge in MEX!
Classy renovation w great a/c in a cosy green setting. My room was an enormous suite done in a contemporary classic style w own private terrace and huge bathroom w walk in glass monsoon shower. Breakfast is simple and stylish. Pool is tiny but designed like an open cenote and a great area to chill with your tunes or a book. Beach towels provided in room. Location pleased me a lot - far from hotel zone (15 min bus to beach 🤷♂️) but heart of old Cancun w dozens of diverse restaurants and coffee shops within ten minutes walk. Very safe area even only 10 mins from bus station.

Ireland- sink was leaking in our room but nothing crazy - safe ran out of battery but they sent someone to fix it asap.
What we liked: (we only stayed for 1 night stopover) - the hotel feels like a little oasis - the pool - facilities but we didn’t get a chance to use (include a remote work space and an oyster bar!) - nice staff - tv set up (Netflix, YouTube etc) - spacious room

CanadaWashrooms need to be updated a bit. They were clean but could use some TLC. You have to walk up the stairs to get to your room, but we needed the exercise. The stairs are tight, so it could be a challenge for elderly people. Some noise at night from the restaurant next door, but it's jazz-type music, which we liked.
Breakfast was great at this location, they had something different every morning. If your looking for big portions and meat you may not like it as much. very nice back area to hang out and get away from the crowded streets.

United StatesThe bedroom had a noticeable odor that felt a bit old and musty, similar to a basement. On a positive note, it was great to have both a Mexican restaurant and an oyster bar on site. While the food itself was okay, the service was excellent and the restaurant staff really stood out.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The boutique-style decor is unique and creates a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

United KingdomThe only downfall for us is that there are no mirrors in the rooms. There is only one mirror in the bathroom which will steam up when showering so makes it difficult to get ready especially if there are two of you sharing a room. The shower is a rainfall shower with good pressure but for confidence a hand held shower would be ideal. The toilet when you flushed it in our room tended to leave a bad smell. It would go away overtime but at times a bit unbearable.
The property is very beautiful and in touch with nature with so many of plants around. The decor is calming and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always there to support with a smile. The location was great. Walking distance from so many amazing restaurants, coffee shops supermarkets etc. The room was very spacious offering so much comfort. The bed was massive also.

SloveniaMy room was super humid, not the nicest smell, I understand the environment and everything, but in other spaces around Mexico I slept, this was never a problem. I also arrived fairly late due to my flight being late and I was waiting almost half an hour for the receptionist, which is not the nicest, when you arrive past midnight and you want to sleep.
Nice place to bridge the trip. Fairly good location, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Charming place, with lots of facilities.

United KingdomRoom lighting was a little dull when trying to work. The request not to "introduce " alcohol to the hotel particularly as they sold it. Never had that before. Maybe you could get drunk but only if you bought it from them!
