It is at least a 15 minute walk to Plaza Principal and 30 mins to the elegant Paseo Montejo and in the heat of Merida , that can be a bit of a drag for late night revelries. I did receive recommendations for restaurants, bars, and cafes but very late in the day. I could have done with that insider information on the first day I arrived. This is just nit picking.

My room had a view of the small pool and garden area and there were tables, chairs, sun loungers provided so you could just relax and have a sundowner in the evening. Not all the rooms have the same view but it was peaceful and quiet place when I was there. I did like the fact that water was in refillable bottles and the shower gel and hand soap came from large containers and not from the little, dinky ones, cutting down on plastic. There are adequate facilities to cook your own meals or blast something in a microwave. The water pressure in the shower was good and the hot water, like a lot of hotels in Mexico, did take a bit of time to get to the shower head. So all in all a good stay.

Nice room and great common area with pool where you can rest after all day. The owner is very helpful with providing assistance with stay and trips around city. We decided to stay one more night in Merida just because this hotel was so nice.

The staff went above and beyond! Through WhatsApp we got so much information about Mérida, where to eat, what to do etc. Then for everyday of our trip we got a suggestion of what to do for that day. It was a lovely touch. The room was perfect and good value for money.

The Hotelito is a beautiful little Oasis just south of the center of Mérida. We stayed in three of the apartments which were all very clean, comfortable and well equipped (kitchen with utensils for two persons, bathrooms with showers, A/C). The outside area is very pretty with a lovely small pool if one wants to cool down and seating options in the shade of the trees. We particularly loved the Suites, as they each have either a balcony or small terrace to spend time on. All in all highly recommended - we actually extended out stay by two nights.

I really enjoyed this boutique hotel. Check-in is entirely digital and there is no on-site staff, but everything went smoothly and Leo was extremely responsive via WhatsApp. I particularly the good dinner recommendation. The historical center is around a 15 minute walk down the street, and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. I would stay here again.

the water pressure wasn’t great in one shower and in the other the water didn’t warm up enough. I should note the hosts did bring someone in to check on it - the shower with no hot water was fixed to have somewhat warm water.

the hosts were so incredibly nice, very eager to assist with recommendations and whatever we may need. they went above and beyond!

It’s always at least 1km to the city center and other places around so be aware to walk quite a bit. We didn’t mind.

Little oasis in the busy streets of Merida, spacious room with kitchen and chill out area. Comfy bed and welcome drinks are a plus. We enjoyed our stay and felt super comfy the whole time.

This property exceeded our expectations in every way! We spent two glorious weeks and did not want to leave! There is a peacefulness that nurtures your soul here while enjoying the beauty of the Yucatan. The room was perfect in every way. Size, cleanliness, amenities. It was so much better than staying at a regular style hotel property. Communication was efficient and quick. Nayeli who provided a daily routine at the property was delightful. we can’t wait to come back!!
