Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesDidn’t like that there were boats coming and going all day everyday made the water murky and not too good for snorkeling. Also couldn’t explore more water cause of the boats. We kept getting lost so better lighted maps would be helpful.
I liked the wildlife that was at location. The beach was ok, didn’t like the rocks but going from the pier was nice and lots of fish under it.

Resort grounds and lush gardens are beautiful. Breakfast and lunch was delicious. Pool was spacious and clean. Enough activities to keep you busy. Juan Carlos was very helpful in front desk.

United StatesWe had to move room to be further away from the pool due to the Holiday Camp style "activities" there during the day (exercises with loud PA). But that was easy to do. Also, the evening "entertainment" was nothing short of painful.
This was a good value for an all-inclusive, with lovely large rooms in separated units of 8. Best meal by far is breakfast, but there's food available somewhere all day. Bar drinks were well made, and cocktails didn't all use bottom row spirits! Spacious pool and lovely beach area to experience sunsets. Various excursions are available, including a 3-hour snorkeling trip (a bit too long for me!).

CanadaThe acoustic in the two dining areas was not good so it was loud and noisy . There were several big groups of friends and of course they were loud and happy to be with each other . We could hardly hear each other in our conversations . Maybe they can add more fabric in their decorations to absorb the noise ?
The staff was very friendly . There were plenty of activities in the resort which we joined .

United StatesThe staff was exceptional! The grounds were pretty and well kept. Some things could be updated - beach and pool chairs. We had a problem with soap dispenser breaking and soaps being refilled. Rooms were small but we really didn’t need them to be bigger. We loved snorkeling off of the beach - be sure to have your swim shoes. The water was beautiful!

United StatesWe booked 6 rooms and all were great, only one of them 6404 had like a “humidity smell” we thought it was going to improve with the fan but it didn’t. Not a big deal but something that can improve. Ohh and also we got a lot of mosquito bites even using the repellent provided. Consider bringing one.
The staff is amazing, every single person working there is very nice and helpful. Fabian has a very nice attitude and made our stay really enjoyable and special. The food was great too!!!

GermanyThe rooms are small and damp. The toilet flush broke a couple of times, but it was quickly repaired, first by me and then by me. The beach is nice but the sea is quite stony.
It is an ideal route especially for diving or snorkeling. It is a very impressive and wonderful experience with various wild animals in a jungle. Cozumel's underwater life is very famous and rich. Also, the entertainment team is very attentive and hardworking.

United StatesFood is kind of bland. I tend to try and make a sandwhich for lunch with whatever I can find. But things would be inconsistent. One day there were sandwhiches for breakfast. Lunch sandwhiches for breakfast, but never for lunch. A sandwhich bar would be great. instead of piecing it together from other spots. For Lunch, not breakfast. The pool bar should have another bartender at busy times. And their should be a way to shut it down without slowly closing it down with one bartender not being able to keep up while the other bartender puts everything away.
I love the location. The property is very well kept. The rooms are a little bare but I don't really have an issue with that. I didn't find the bed that comfortable but that could just be my preference of bed. The food is average and things were a little chaotic during our stay regarding what restaurant would be open and in what location. I am guessing that at a slow time of year you have to try and get some work done on some kitchens and facilities. Again, was not an issue for me.

United StatesNothing really. We arrived shortly after a hurricane so the gounds had a lot of debris and there was no wifi/internet or cell service for the first day, but that is to be expected after such a bad storm. We loved this place and would definitely return with friends and family.
The grounds were beautifully maintained and the rooms are styled as separate cabinas so it didn't have a skyscraper of a hotel--it felt more like a tiny cute villa. There were tons of activities including a dive shop on site which offered a variety of classes and dives. There were many places to eat and drink and hang out and the food was DELICIOUS! The alcohol included was better than other all inclusive places we stayed.

United StatesThe AC wasnt cold in one room, and there was so many bugs and mosquitos. But I guess you cants always control that. They had just had a hurricane so we didnt have internet, and could not watch TV. The bar at the pool closed really early, like 6pm. Other than that it was fine since we had kids and they could eat anything.
We did like that this location was close to the beach and snorkeling. We did like the options of all the restaurants, and pool being right out of our rooms was a plus. We have kids, so it was nice for them to have any kind of food they liked.

United StatesThe minibar in the room was horrible. I am not sure why it was called that. It had 2 beers. Cleaning was great after the first night but slow the second night and did not even change the sheets. Mosquitoes was out of control no fault of the property but would like to have seen better coverings over the buffet bars.
I loved the location and the beauty of the resort. It was relaxing with just enough activity and able to get a quiet nice rest.

United StatesIt took us a minute to realize that this is not a vacation where you lay around your luxury hotel room. The room was a bit rustic but spacious! The water in our shower sometimes didn't want to get hot but was warm and doable. The bed was on the firm side for me. Loved the hammock on the patio but bring bug spray, I did get bit up! On that note, the gift shop is spendy.. Bug spray or sunscreen will cost you!
We loved the staff, the activities, the FOOD. I felt like I was at summer camp for adults.. with a swim up bar as a bonus! I got a lot out of their app- there are TONS of fun things to do, not to mention DIVING! We ate almost every meal at the two buffets and were always impressed. Our son ate at the snack shack daily and his burger/ nacho's etc.. looked really good too. Clean facilities, stunning views.. amazing, can't wait to come back!- Oh the spa is great, treat yourself! I heard people raving out their massages and my pedicure was really well done.
