The breakfast that is included is really not worth it at all. One croissant and a weird bread roll. If you want tea instead of coffee - forget it! The guy was so put out that I asked for tea and made me pay $3USD for tea when breakfast is included. This says a 3 bedroom apartment, but the 3rd bedroom is upstairs by the private plunge pool and I didn't feel safe having my kid sleep up there as the roof can be easily accessed. So my husband had to sleep up there. The pool guy can just climb on the roof to access the plunge pool and this felt a bit dodgy to me. I'm sure he's fine, but when you're travelling with kids you have to be able to sleep knowing they are safe!

Nice room, washer/drier, great pool. Has a kitchen, but just the essentials. We hired the ATV's to get around and this was fun and great. but the ATV's are in such bad condition and need a wheel alignment. This apartment is about half way between Tulum beach area and the town. Maybe closer to town. You can not walk there. The ATV's were great for this, but the beach area is more popular and has nice boutiques but you really can't access the beach unless you go to a restaurant.

Loved how spacious it was. It was perfect for a family of 4. Loved the landscape at this place. Definitely beautiful. The pool in the main area was very nice. It super close to the beach and all main attractions. Only thing is our private pool was cold, not clean and not very big as it looked in the photos. When I told front desk about the pool not cleaned.. they sent someone right aways to clean it. Kitchen cooking utensil could be upgraded. Restaurant and coffee shop are good and convenient.

The kitchenette was missing some stuff. We were 4 people and got only 3 forks and 3 glasses. Also as it is just an apartment and no hotel the room didn’t get cleaned at all and we didn’t got cleaning stuff to do it by ourselves.

The property is located right between Tulum Center and Tulum Beach - in both directions about 2 km. As we rented scooters for the whole trip it was perfect for us because we spent the days at the beach and the evenings in Tulum Center. The apartment was a bit smaller than expected but still beautiful and clean. The pool area and the whole complex got cleaned every day. There is a security who checks the armbands so nobody gets inside who’s not supposed to be there. There are two small restaurants and a convenient store inside the complex. There is a beach shuttle 2x/day. You need to reserve a spot early in the morning for the same day. The whole staff was super friendly and professional. I would definitely come back to Mistiq and highly recommend it!

We could have had our actual room for the first night. We booked our room for 7 nights but there was an error and the first night, it was not available. At first we were going to be moved to another property, then we were put into a larger room.

Mistiq is a great option for everyone who needs a quiet space & good facilities. Service is professional and quick, reception helpful, location good (you need a bike/car to get to the city center or to the beach comfortably but on the other hand there’s no noise and that’s - in my opinion - the most important :)). We liked it.

There are no electric plugs in living spaces! there are only 3 in the entire one bedroom two are next to the bed used for lights and one right in the middle of the kitchen. I needed to work remotely and had to either stand on the kitchen island while the charging wire was hanging to the wall or lay in bed. Not having enough electric outlets is a huge oversight. No shelves in the shower Location is not accessible without Taxies / Shuttle. Drivers will use this against you, they want USD $100 for 15 min drive.

I don't want to say anything negative about this property, but the noise of the cars off the main road when sitting by the pool area was not very relaxing -but it was still beautiful. Just a tip-they could put more individual sun loungers out...it was very limited to the size of the space. The walls to the next room very thin, I could hear the family and kids next door… they were very very loud.

In general my department was clean but not super clean.

The condos are really nice, I loved my condo it was very elegant, with all the facilities necessary for the stay, the pool area is big, definitely a very good price-value ratio. If you have a car you are 10 - 15 min away of downtown or the beach. I would definitely like to come back.

At check-in, the apartment requested for a 5,000 peso deposit by credit card or cash. I thought that was excessive and a pain.

The apartment was definitely more luxurious than any other apartments we've stayed in Tulum (we lived near there for 2 years and made regular trips). It was larger than I expected; the living room was massive and rooms were also huge. We had more than enough space for the three of us. We also liked that there was a cafe and restaurant right at the complex. We'd definitely stay here again!

issues with getting my deposit back.

it was lovely. beautiful views and rooms. some of the amenities were a little run down. only problem was follow up on the staff for your deposit back. I still haven’t received mine.

The actual unit was worn and REEKED of mold so bad I asked for a different room but they could not accommodate us. We also considered getting a new hotel but everything was booked as well seeing that it was the weekend. Some doors and windows couldn't close so insects would come inside you could see where they tried to duck tape the window closed but someone removed it. The unit was on the 3rd floor and the elevator looked like it had been permanently broken prior to our arrival so imagine tugging 50lb luggage up and down 3 stories. The grill on the rooftop is not useable and needs to be replaced it is very rusty and none of the knobs looked like they even worked. The rooftop pool has some removable tiles that were left half open which was very dangerous possibly trip and fall incident.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Convenient store and restaurant downstairs was a plus.

Pool area a bit underwhelming - it would help to use real photos rather than computerised images. Not enough sun beds, and not as many as advertised in photos. WiFi does not work around pool area. Gym closes early. Wasn’t allowed to use underground parking area which wasn’t clear at time of booking.

Very spacious rooms with good size balcony area. Clean room and comfy bed, good kitchen facilities and WiFi worked well in rooms.

1. The private jacuzzi was a big plus for us but unfortunately the jets did not work. I messaged concierge and never got a reply. We checked out the next day and still never got a response. 2. Having some coffee to brew in the room would be a nice addition since we usually like coffee in the morning. Luckily there was a 7eleven just a 2 minute drive down the street where we could get coffee and whatever drinks and snacks we wanted. 3. I saw many reviews about the location being far from restaurants and so forth but if you have your own transportation that is no issue at all 4. The pool rules were a little strict whereby no alcohol or music is allowed. But then again I guess this is what keeps the environment quiet and relaxing. Overall it was a great choice. We would stay there again.

Location was in the center and close to everything including beaches. Pools and ambience was very relaxing. Facilities were just like in the pictures. Condo was very clean and had that modern feel. We were all impressed at how clean the and neat the place looked. It had a little sitting area in front and a little private sitting area with a jacuzzi in the back. The kids really liked that there were different pools to play in with different depths. Not much people were by the pool so we had more than enough space to enjoy it, especially being the Easter weekend. I saw many previous reviews about the noise from the traffic beside the location but honestly we only heard it while sitting in the back area. Once inside we didn't hear the traffic.
