The pool area had loud club music all afternoon, could not be there or even sit on our balcony overlooking the pool; we either went inside or found a quiet place elsewhere. The 3am AC leak was a drag, but a 3-man crew was there in a half hour to fix it. Early in our stay we were badgered to buy extra services or future visits but that decreased.

Dining was terrific, we enjoyed the buffet and the specialty restaurants. The resort is well-maintained and the room was spacious and clean. Staff is most helpful and responsive. Plenty of drink spots.

Upon check out myself and the other person who checked in both received credit card fraudulent charges on multiple credit cards that were on my wallet not even the credit card that I used. There’s someone at the hotel, obtaining individuals, credit card information upon check-in.

Nightclub lounge could do with an actual dancefloor.

Hot tub in garden. All the food was exceptional and drinks service was excellent. Main bar was nice, nightclub lounge was oddly laid out but was fine. Swim up bar and pool parties were excellent. Beach is lovely, we had some seaweed but not too bad.

We didn’t like many of the restaurants especially the Mexican ....you would think being in Mexico this would be the best ... uses of language on the menu with words such as rind and lard was rather off putting. we ended up walking out and getting a room service burger. also having to use phones to access menu and info was very unhelpful at check in they failed to inform us to book restaurants for our stay .... the first night we ended up almost not being able to eat.

My only issue is we booked 2 rooms with double beds and it said “subject to availability” when I booked my reservation with Booking.com. The resort was clearly not full while we were there, so there was definitely availability for two full beds but at check in they said it would be an extra $139 per night, per room. I was there with my mom and adult son and daughter, so having separate beds was important for my adult kids. They gave us two king rooms and brought a roll away bed for the kids room and my mom and I shared the king bed in the 2nd room.

My first all inclusive so I don’t have much to compare too but I thought it was fantastic. We stayed in the adults only area. We got in early evening and had a really easy check in. They offered us snacks & drinks (beer, water, soda, etc) during check in. The resort was really pretty, very clean and I loved the aroma therapy everywhere. We never had a problem finding food. Really enjoyed our dinner at Bana and Blue Agave, where I paid extra for lobster, yum. We were there mid March and there was seaweed at the beach , none on the first few days, then it started to come in. The pool was awesome, I was happy it was not heated, it was very refreshing to get in, but I may have felt different if we hadn’t had perfect warm weather.

Staff service was sometime not good - some bartenders and wait staff were abrupt and some downright rude. Hotel needs to work on this aspect as it nearly ruined our experience. (there were many great service staff during our stay, it was 4-5 bad staff experiences that we had) Had to take a taxi into town ($12/MXN200-300) each way, not bad, but does add some friction to stay (vs hotels in central town). Lots of taxis around though, no problem finding and never had a price gouging experience.

Even though we booked the adults only package we were put in the family section of the hotel (which they do tell you is a possibility) but it’s a long walk each time to get from the pool, bars, restaurants etc to get back to the room. also on the first day, at check in, we had to do an introductory tour around the hotel with a rep and we were “sold to” a lot. When they tried to organise a follow up catch up a few days later, I politely declined. they didn’t chase me up about it, so was handled well.

lovely hotel, with lots of options for restaurants. Staff were really nice and helpful and the hotel is lovely and clean! I’ve stayed in better all inclusive hotels in Mexico but it was good value for money.

The room was a little outdated (I.e. no USB ports for charging) The Melia app rarely worked (after multiple times re-installing) and was difficult to view menus etc

The food was.. just ok. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. There's room for improvement there. The evening entertainment leaves a lot to be desired and ends at 11pm already, which from one point of view is understandable as its mostly outdoors. But they'd have plenty of indoor locations, far away from the rooms to keep it going a bit longer and more entertaining.

Property is huge, yet doesn't really feel all that crowded. The pool chairs aren't all reserved at 8am already, actually you'd probably find a chair somewhere in the 2nd row even in the middle of the afternoon. Staff is very polite and always helpful. Very active and helpful waiters by the pool ready to take your order. Well equipped and big gym.

The pool water was freezing, the bartenders did not know how to make drinks, the entertainment was cheesy, the buffet was subpar at some of the restaurants, the people working were not the friendliest I encountered in all of my trips to Mexico.

The property is pretty on the eyes, and easy to get around.
