Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

When I arrived the two receptionists were more interested in a telephone call on loudspeaker joking and having fun than even acknowledging me. Once they did after at least 5 minutes they were extremely polite. Just a hello sir I'll be with you after this call is all it takes especially when it sounded like a personal call and both seemed to be wrapped up in it.

The lighting isn’t great in the room.
Decent no frills hotel that’s fairly central to downtown. Fast check in. Good AC. Very quiet except you can hear hallway noise.

Shower was not great. Little bit of noise from the street but honestly nothing bad.
The room was really spacious and nice. 2 big comfy twin beds. Table with chair which was good to work. WiFi was fine 95% of the time and fast enough to work/have calls (it dropped a few hours in a weeks which is fine). The shower was the best, but seems to be a theme in Mexico. Location was good, fairly quiet room despite facing the road, very close to the ADO station and many spots in the center. You can easily get a cheap bus to go to the beach. We didn't use the pool.

The bed was legitimately the worst I’ve ever slept on, so hard and I could feel the springs, staff were far from friendly, they only gave us one hanger in the closet. You sacrifice comfort for affordability.

Although possible, it is very complicated to invite other people to the property.
The apartment is in good conditions, nothing fancy but functional. The property manager is very available and flexible.

THE SHOWER WAS BEARLY WARM ENOUGH and THE STAFF SAID THAT WAS HOW IT IS. THE POOL ALWAYS HAD LEAVES IN THE WATER. THE LIGHTENING IN THE ROOM LIMITED. THE CABLE TV HAD A LIMITED SELECTION OF CHANNELS (20) AND ONLY CNN WAS IN ENGLISH (SAP DID NOT WORK). DESK STAFF WERE CORDIAL BUT ADDRESSED ISSUES IN A GOOD FASHION.

Minimal parking. No foot towels for the bathroom. A/C difficult to regulate.

The downstairs staff is very grumpy. I had a problem where my room key kept getting deactivated everyday and this was inconvenient. Bathroom faucets could use deep cleaning. A/C is extremely loud and functions more like a heavy duty cooling fan rather than an A/C. Once you turn it off the room is immediately hot since the A/C was actually more of a fan.
The location was walking distance to restaurants and ADO. Rooms were spacious and there no cleanliness issues.

Breakfast, it should include unlimited coffee at least and bigger portions of food.
The stuff was really friendly and helpful. We asked to be moved to another room because of the AC was very noisy and they did it right away. Whenever we aksed a question they were always willing to help.

The sink and shower faucets are too old and look pretty bad. Noise from corridors come if someone is talking
Great location, few meters from ADO Station from to the airport. As well as commutes very well to the main areas. Parking, big rooms and nice staff

TV is too small also dated so not smart TV only Mexican cable channel's available so couldn't use my Netflix, air con is extremely noisy so unable to use whilst trying to sleep, WiFi is intermittent, bar had an event which went on until the early hours which could be heard in my room. Lighting in room is very dim also furniture is quite dated.
The hotel is very close to the Ado bus station, the rooms are big and the bathroom is large with good hot water, rooms cleaned each day. Although towels are changed each day which I found unnecessary. Staff were pleasent especially the receptionist who checked me in. There is a restaurant and small Pool which I did not use so cannot comment.
