Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe only thing is the walls are quite thin to the corridor but not too bad. Everything else made up for this.
LOCATION IS AMAZING!!! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was nice and balcony was added bonus. Will definitely be returning again hopefully in April.

AustriaThe window didn't shut properly as there is no window seal on the old wooden window frame. Hence, one can hear every tram, bus and car passing by (and even the raindrops during a stormy night)! The "spa" doesn't seem very welcoming, as it is not properly heated to lay down and relax. The swimming pool is quite refreshing as well, so not really inviting to relax in the water. The check-in made us feel very uncomfortable, as the card we put down beforehand has not been accepted, and they basically told us, that they will then have to cancel our booking! The person doing our check-in was very strict and not solution oriented. In the end we had the idea to pay one night in cash and later on had to get the rest from the ATM and pay our stay in cash! Their management with us as customers had been very unprofessional, not understanding, kind or solution oriented!! There has not been the possibility to check in earlier, so we had to wait two hours after our 15 hour train-ride there. The balcony looked dirty at the first glance, as some of the railing's paint fell off and the stone tiles had stains of water and algae/moss. We found two of the four coffee capsules between the fresh ones upon our arrival in the room.
Most of the personal were very friendly and kind (except the one that made a terrible impression when handling our check-in quite unprofessional and unkind). The cleaning ladies are super friendly and do a good job, cleaning the room every day. They also stock up the coffee and tea supply on the room every day and whenever you need more you can just call. We enjoyed the breakfast, as well as the awesome view from the breakfast room. The location is very nice! Less than 1 min to the sea and about 3 min walking to the Foodhall, 5 min to the pier... so perfect for people like us, who like being close to the sea and beach! The tram station is literally just behind the hotel and even though that makes troubling noise for the rooms with windows out back, being this close to public transport is very good! We got the OV-Card and went into the city center quite a few times (approximately 15 min by tram). An extra plus for us, have been the very nice feeling eco-friendly cosmetic products they refill on your room.

GermanySpecifically booked a room with beach view but you could barely see it; room service did not fill up mini bar during our stay; no door in the shower led to a flooded bathroom when using
Close vicinity to the beach, extraordinary equipped breakfast, small but pretty wellness area including sauna

NetherlandsThe bed was not really comfortable.
We got a free upgrade to a room with sea view. It was very nice watching the sea from your room. I personally did not find the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, not very extensive, but I would think something for all tastes. Location was perfect. If you are travelling with public transportation, there is a stop at the door. Close to the beach, restaurants etc. It was worth it.

Belgium- I found somebody's else hair in the shower - breakfast room full of smoke and terrible smell because of the eggs cooking corner - room upgrade available only at an extra charge, regardless of the hotel occupancy - breakfast 20€ a day (!!) - for that price it was really basic. No freshly squeezed orange juice, no porridge, limited healthy and bio options - inside renovation works ongoing - guests could be accommodated on the floors where the works are not yet ongoing
- the bed and pillow were comfy - location is perfect, in front of the sea, close to restaurants and bars - parking at 25€ per day

BelgiumDue to the 2 lifts being down at the same time, there were many people bumping into each other in the stairs near the reception. In addition, since room 403 is near the stairs and the stairs were busy (even at very late hours), i was constantly woken up by people talking on their way to 4th floor from the staircase. Not the hotel's fault per se but better sound-proofing on rooms near the staircases would certainly be welcome. There was a bad smell in the room (opening the window for 5-10 minutes resolved the issue, but it kept coming back).
The view from the room (room 403) is great. Breakfast is, as usual, awesome. The check-in was at speed of light (always appreciated after a long drive and a day at work). The gym is well equipped and you can actually do proper workouts there. And I also like having breakfast looking at the beach :-)
