Would recommend: - to add milk/creamer in the rooms to complement the coffee. We didn't mind, as we just bought it from AH. - there is no fridge in the room. Would be a great addition to the rooms to keep fruit, perishables etc. Bed and pillows were a bit too soft for us. But this is a personal preference as we like quite firmer mattress and pillows. Showers have slightly lower pressure than typical for northern europe. But nothing to complain about really. Explained clearly as a water-conserving initiative.

Nice room with bright-pastel colours, quirky fun decor and accessories. We really loved the electric kettle! Spacious and comfortable room. Excellent coffee in the room - real ground coffee to drip into cup, rather than instant. This was really great every morning! All staff was very nice and helpful - even small things like offered glasses with ice when we bought some fizzy water. We would not really have thought to ask. No problems with the bathroom or shower. Very clean. Shower is typical italian type, with a small ledge. We had zero flooding. We stayed on the top floor, with a very large terrace with chairs & table, and a lovely city view. The hotel is on the western end of Vondelpark. Good location to walk through and enjoy the park everyday, close to museum square, close to the old west for restaurants. Further from city centre generally - so it's a good walk if that's your target.

The cot wasn't in the room when we arrived so we had to wait for that. But the hotel was good enough to give us a refund on the 10Eur price.

We stayed one night with our 2-year old child, who used a baby cot in the corner of the room. It was clean and comfortable and a great location near the Vondelpark. Nice skyline view from our window.

Cleaning up more thoroughly would be good. The frame of the bed had disgusting leftover dry food(?), there was a tangerine under the bed, and the bed sheets although stained, weren't changed.

Lovely aesthetic and very friendly/ helpful staff (especially the night shift). Nice location near the park and the museums. Amazing having to check out by 12 noon

The fire alarm went off twice in our three night stay, once at 6am and there didn’t appear to be any staff managing the evacuation apart from someone popped out after 5 minutes to say we could go back in - I don’t know if it is always going off that frequently.

They didn't have the room ready at 3 p.m. We have to wait an hour to get in. And they always said, Just in 15 minutes, and then more and more until we wait an hour and finally get the room.

I like the design of the hotel; it's pretty cuate, and the room was super comfortable. I don't have any problem with that. The bed was lovely and teh staff was really nice.

The employees are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. The rooms are spotless. Silent. Its location is a little far from the center, but it doesn't matter much because you can see many sweet restaurants and different streets by walking. The Vodem Park walking track right behind is incredibly beautiful. We went as two families. I had a 13-year-old daughter and a ten-year-old son. They both liked it very much. My friend had a baby and a three-year-old son. They were very comfortable. It is close to public transportation, but we preferred to walk. I liked it very much. Thank you to all the hotel staff.

I missed having some milk in my bedroom. As a Brit, I love my English tea with milk. The hotel does not provide milk in the rooms. However, when I asked for milk at reception, staff would always give me a cup to take to my room. It didn’t stay fresh for long as there was no fridge. I suggest providing little sachets of milk instead.

I really like the modern and clean look, the vibrant colours and the messages on the signs throughout the hotel. I like the eco concept and it has honestly made me rethink my eco values. Never thought I would enjoy a vegetarian breakfast like the one served at the Conscious hotel and still have a great shower with 35% less water. I also chose to not have my room cleaned during my stay and have a tree planted instead. Staff were very friendly, multilingual and I love the message on their t-shirts “I’m eco sexy and you know it”. Sammy, Joao, Giorgio and others were amazing at their jobs. Most importantly, as a solo 45 year old female traveller, I felt extremely safe at this hotel and very comfortable.
