- thin walls, you could hear a lot of noise coming from the next rooms and outside- people, pigeons; - it's an old house and there's no lift, you will have to carry your luggage up a lot of narrow stairs;

- close to central station; - nice staff; - clean place.

I believe some of the points I list below are just common for old buildings: - I could hear the people in the room next to mine though they were not noisy and at night it was quiet. - I could hear my own steps when you walk in the room, no matter how smooth I walked. - It does not have an elevator, and the stairs are very narrow and make some noise. - The carpet looked very old and had some stains. - The radiator was broken and rusty. - Very early checkout (10:00).

I just stayed for one night and I could sum my experience as a good one: - At a central location. - The mattress was comfortable. - The room was clean and bright. - The Internet (Wi-Fi) worked without any issue.

The very steep stairs, it was very dangerous to carry my 20kg luggage 3 floors up. Not recommended if you have heavy bags.

Staircase was very difficult to climb specially along with the luggage and no one was there to help out. if you loose balance on the staircase you will fall down badly and break any of your bone in the body because staircase was very steep and dangerous.

Loud music to all hours. People’s alarms woke us at 6am after just getting to sleep at 3am due to the music. Next door guest having loud sex with no care for others! Was so uncomfortable! Dusty, dirty old carpets, we kept our shoes and slept in our clothes on top of the covers. Stains and hairs on bed sheets. Dirty bathroom tiles and grout. Only 1 British channel working on tv. No coffee only green tea. One towel each, no bath mat or hair towels.

The girl who checked us in, she was so chatty and funny. She made us laugh the whole time. The bar area was cosy with good music. You can smoke your joint outside the bar in the sitting area :)

The rooms are a little dated a the stairs getting up to the rooms are lethal but thT seems the case in most hotels in Amsterdam due to the shape of the buildings

Loved the staff, they went above and beyond to help us when we weren't feeling our best the next morning. The bed was very comfortable and had a good night sleep. The location is perfect, 7 min walk from the central station

The hallways, stairways and entry had a grubby feel about it. The rooms were very small but adequate with bed and bathroom, the bed was comfy. We were only staying a few hours but the room was a bit stuffy and pokey.

Great location, exceptionally helpful and welcoming staff. The bar attached at street level would make a friendly home base, particularly if you were travelling solo.

There is sick on the carpets, the room was not clean and the bathroom was really dirty. That's my main complaint. The staircase is dangerous. The room is run down and things are broken. The room was tiny.

Perfect location- it's in the middle of all the excitement. The staff were pleasant. The bed was comfy and we liked the large window out to the street. The tv worked fine.

Too dirty I am sory to say that.It is not problem the stairs for me but carpet need to be replaced as soon as possible.Shame,but in the room not much better.New paint would make big difference.Toilets ,better not...For two star hotel should be standard

The stairs! They are steepest, smallest steps I’ve ever seen. If you have too many drinks these stairs could be challenging
