Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Check in time is 3pm, we were charged 10 euros for early check in.
Located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Supermarkets next to it. Free breakfast is vey good. Room size is ok but a bit old.

Nothing really, only one thing - No USB sockets for charging. Also, a small fridge would be a bonus.
The location is good, about 30-40 min from the center if you use public transport. The tram stop is about 3 min walk. The room is clean and tidy. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable,and a good night sleep is guaranteed😊. Also, no noise either inside or outside of the hotel. Breakfast is very basic, but does the job. Overall, satisfied with the stay. Thank you!

A/C in the room was loud, had to switch it off during sleep.
Very basic and poor choice for breakfast. Not too far from city centre, reacheble by metro and tram. Problem was with the tramway temporary reconstruction. Nice admins.

Great location, tram stop nearby to get to Rijksmuseum and canal boats. Good choice for breakfast, room was clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Also parking outside hotel -pay at machine for whole day around 17 Euro.

Pillows could be softer for my taste, and we had two beds that were pushed close instead of one big 🥹 ac was giving us a trouble, we couldn't cool down temperature in the room. Fridge and toilet brush would be recommended. 😁
Very kind stuff, location is relatively close to the center, it is very well connected by publick transportation, there are a lot of stores nearby, gym and small food places.

The breakfast spread can be improved and some variations from day to day should be considered instead of a fixed repetitive layout each day.

One of the reception staff went out of her way to accomodate us when we arrived a little early for check-in. She made us feel like the hotel valued us as customers. I think her name was Anastasia. She is a credit to IHG.

airco didnt work. or it requires an advanced engineering degree. unfortunately the single person on staff was constantly helping other guest with complaints [including airco!]. in the end we decided to forget about it because it wasn't really warm. but it would have been better if it would have worked.

My pillow was way too uncomfortable, too stiff and tall, woke up with my neck stiff because of it. But otherwise the bed was comfy

- A small fridge in the room would have been nice, also there was no toilet brush in the bathroom which was a bit weird.
+ Breakfast was very good, beds were super comfortable and the room/hallways were quiet and clean. + Staff was also nice and helpful :) + Location couldn't have been better, very close to the airport and it was easy to get from Amsterdam Zuid station to the hotel via tram.
