Definitely wish the rooms felt more clean. The pillow covers had blood stains (?) on them. Room service does not clean until the afternoon; so we weren’t able to get our rooms serviced because we would come back before them. Carpets could use a good vacuum and just a good wipe down of everything. I’m not high maintenance by any means but I really did not feel comfortable. I hope they see this and the other reviews to step up their cleanings

The hallway carpets needed to be more thoroughly vacuumed. Some things looked a little rundown, tear in the curtains, hook missing from bathroom door. I may not have read things correctly but I was expecting more of a breakfast you could purchase. They do have croissants and fruit, however, and the coffee from the machine was quite good. I did ask the staff person the first night if they could get the tv to work, but that person said they were unable to help, yet would tell the morning staff. When I got back the second day it still wasn't working. The second night I went back down to ask for help and a person came up to help but they were not able to help either. I said that was OK and it was no big deal. However, it was rainy and chilly in Amsterdam and the first night I was able to easily get the space heater to work. The second night I was unable to and by that time I was in bed and figured it was too complicated to get assistance...I tried to use the phone to call down to the person on staff, but again, couldn't figure that out. It would have been helpful to have someone actually show me to the room and show how to use the heater/AC unit and the phone. I travel a lot around the world but things are always a little different in different places. Or just leave some written instructions on how to use the heater/tv/phone.

The location was amazing. The bathrooms were clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Most staff were knowledgeable, but some could be a bit more communicative. Beds were still good, but on the soft side.

The hotel is located next to the Vondelpark and the museums are within walking distance. In the morning, the hotel provides croissants and coffee, and the rooms are very nice. The staff is also very friendly. I would return here anytime.

We only stayed one night so we didn’t have time to find any negative aspect.

The room was bigger than what you’d get somewhere else for the same price range. The location was very nice since it was close to multiple tram stops, possibly even for the bus or the metro but we only used the tram so I’m not sure about that. Plus the park was very nice and the hotel is very close to the Museumplein, which was what we were mostly interested in.

I found the bed comfortable, but for my husband it was too soft. It was also long enough for him - a bonus for Dutch people - but the sheet wasn't quite long enough, so it wasn't tucked in at the head end, and in the night it became bunched up.

The room was larger than we expected (for an Amsterdam hotel!), very clean, light and comfortable, with a view of the park. There was a desk and two chairs. Bathroom was marble tiled and certainly had enough space. Although there was "no breakfast served", there was in fact tea, coffee, juice, fruit and croissants available. The reception staff person was also friendly and helpful.

We couldn't work out how to control the heating, so room was a bit hot.

This hotel is very close to Van Gogh museum, other galleries and the concerthall. Well served by trams and just a 10 minute ride to Central Station. A complimentary snack breakfast was offered. Orange or banana, croissant and hot drinks machine. We were pleased to have this.

We could hear people above us walking around so at times it was quite noisy.
