Very steep stairs to bring the baggage to the room.

Very nice and quite residential area. Breakfast was prepared in the fridge and tea, coffee, jam, butter and milk available at the common area just outside of the room. Bus stop is close by.

The room could be cleaner. The bathroom was clean, but the floor in the living area is not. Shower gel and shampoo are not provided, so go ahead and buy them in one of the stores nearby. Teabags could be a good addition to breakfasts, coffee is included.

Harold, the host, is a nice person, he does not ask too many questions and does not bother you with advices. Propery location is good, close to a subway station one stop from the city center and in a quiet district. Breakfast is just enough to start your day and survive until lunch.

The wardrobe was unstable, the kitchen equipments was filled with limescale. Should be need some modernisation for the house inside.

the on suit bathroom and shower are very dated and need some repairs, ie the shower head doesn’t sit in the holder anymore, and the bathroom door need to be open to sit on the toilet

The place is near the peaceful park. metro is in 15 walk from metro Norderpark. Harold was very kind. Continental breakfast was enough for us both. Thank you!

Many stairs which was difficult for bulk luggage, it was his own house not a hotel/motel which we were unsure of and breakfast wasn’t available as expected. The bathroom was tiny and unclean and we couldn’t close the door while using the toilet because there was no room

Walk wasn’t too long to the train station, Harold tidied our room for us while we were out and the room was warm

Breakfast is included which is a nice touch, however, maybe it would be smarter to invest money for preparing breakfast into improving rooms.

The host is helpful and understandable and it is easy to make agreements. Nice room, you get basics that you need for few days. Location is perfect, in a peacful neighbourhood outside Amsterdam, but still easily accessible by metro or 30 mins walk to the city.

The room is small for a big person like me(of almost 2 m height 😅) and I consider it needs a bit of renovation. Air conditioning unit is a must to add on the rooms.

The location was specific to the Amsterdam Nord area. The neighborhood was calm and quiet and full of green areas around the apartments and with the Noorderpark in the close proximity. Harold is a welcoming host and the house cat is lovely. The breakfast is a good option and I liked that it could be served in the room.

Welcoming host. Despite the house was not in the city center it was relatively easy and fast to get there. It was a calm neighbourhood, food and grocery store available in walking distance.

Very friendly host, he was kind enough to be awake till 23-00 to check us in, every morning he prepared a small breakfast. The room is enough for two people.

The space to prepare the breakfast is a bit small, and could be organised in a more suitable way. The bathroom is a bit small and dated.

In spite of being a bit far from the centre, is easily reached from Amsterdam Centraal Station through a 2min subway-trip and a short walk (or bike ride). The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and close to the refreshing Noorderpark. The room was clean, warm (even with snowy weather outside), and the breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and open to accomodate some food restrictions previously informed by us.
