No toilet roll in my room the first night had to get it from my friends room The last person to use the toilet hadn’t flushed it which meant it was never cleaned after the previous customers left that room Window wouldn’t open got very hot over night

Can highly recommend this nice and cosy hotel with excellent location. Close to everything but still quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Access to nice patio and liked the garden view as well.

The bed mattress would slide apart which is a shame as meant couldn't go to sleep with my partner as felt almost slept seperately but it isn't the end of the word - if anything we didn't have to share a duvet then!

I was worried after the odd reviews saying about small or dirty. We didn't have any issues, the room was clean and warm, was cleaned daily, a little fridge to keep our bits chilled, the staff were always friendly and welcoming. A nice 20 minute walk or so from everything and the center, 5 min walk from the metro, everything is walkable from here but also quiet enough in the evening

Too bad the smoking was not allowed in the beautiful back garden, it would have been great to be able to have our morning coffee there - but that's a minor thing from a subjective perspective. Again, another subjective opinion - the mattress was too soft.

Very good location, quiet but still not that far from everything interesting. Extremely kind and attentive staff. Very good breakfast, not a huge offer but still something for every taste and appetite.

Front door remained open all day which made me feel a little uneasy, and bedrooms are outdated and no insulation making it cold at night.

the sound insulation is very bad, that you can hear everything from other rooms and hallway.

We could hear people banging and walking around above our room which caused our light to shake and vibrate in our room. I also think the cost of the breakfast is quite expensive for the what you have a choice from. They are cafes close by that offer better breakfasts for less.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and gave us great tips to help us navigate around Amsterdam.

The rooms could be a little refreshed in term of decoration but I design hotels as my job and I am just very attentive to details. The rooms are fine but could be even better my a little extra touch. I would be happy to help :)

This hotel has the perfect location on a canaal but without all the tourists spots. It is quiet at night. There is a great buffet breakfast available and beautiful terrace outdoor. Love this hotel that I call my home in Amsterdam. The staff is also amazing and always happy to help. Recommend warmly.

Location was great, a short walk into the central area, hotel was cosy and welcoming we had a nice view of the garden, reception gave us directions and a map to where we wanted to go. Breakfast was very nice, everything you could want.

The pillows were very soft and weren’t very comfortable. The room was incredibly hot despite us visiting in January. We had to have the fan and the AC unit on all night, which meant in the morning we felt very dehydrated. We could hear people walking above us quite loudly and people in the hallways.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always polite. The reception and dining area were very modern. The room had a view of the canal which was really nice. The shower pressure was great!
