To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very welcoming hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great location within easy walking distance of all the main sights and in a lovely neighbourhood. Chose not to have breakfast as we are not breakfast people, however the hotel was really nice for late night drink and nightcap at the end of the day and we did that most nights. Rooms were cosy with all the key amenities. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Staff were very courteous and welcoming. The location is about 5 to 10 minutes away from a huge range of restaurants and the metro station.

United States of AmericaThe hotel is noisy. The AC fan in the room needs maintenance, you can hear people walking around, talking, water hammer in the pipes. We didn’t sleep well.
The property has a good location and clean. The staff and bar tenders were all very welcoming and nice. The street is pretty quiet.

TurkeyRoom decoration and furnitures were not the same as the photos. Hotel building is like a labyrinth. You have walk in between different buildings and stair/elevators in order to reach your room. There was a carpet change throughout the hotel. Unlucky that we were there on the same days.
Very good location. 2min walk to central tram line and airport shuttle line. If you are interested in museums and walkin in parks hotel is located 5-7 min walk to museums quarter and Vondel Park. Comfortable rooms. I would definately recommend this hotel if you love to walk, use trams/buses when you are exploring a new city.

United KingdomBreakfast is expensive for people like us who only want cereal or toast and tea: it would be good to have a small breakfast option. However there are good places for breakfast within a few minutes. The shower is modern and in good order but we had great difficulty working out how to use it properly, never quite got the hang of it, some verbal guidance and written instructions would be really useful!
Location was great, within 12 minutes of the Rijksmuseum and the museum square, and comfortable walking distance (we are seniors) or easy tram ride for all the centre and all the other main sites. It's also within 5-10 minutes walk of good places to eat traditional dutch food and a great Indonesian restaurant. We chose a small room at the top of the house and found it very cosy, bright and convenient, with a kettle and facilities for tea and coffee. The staff were very helpful and friendly and responsive to requests eg for an extra duvet and for larger mugs for tea drinkers!

Excellent location and very helpful staff - Thomas was particularly friendly and chatty on arrival. Beds were much more comfortable than expected.

GermanyFor a 4star hotel I was expecting more from it tbh. The shower wasn’t that good - it wasn’t powerful enough and at first we thought the shower was broken. The mattress felt like it was broken, because on one side you sank into the bed. Besides that, we heard often a noise coming from the AC
