The bad part is that the room is not big enough and stuff there seem to be old and kind of rusty, however is not something super bad, is just ok

The hotel is well located in Oslo, however is a Hostel so don't expect too much of it, I however enjoyed to stay there since it was centric.

There is no socket next to the bed. If you sleep on the top bunk, you can only charge your phone from the socket next to the bed below.

No shampoo or body wash provided. No social events. Also at night you need to be careful when walking around but there are police patrolling so its not really a big deal.

Its close to oslo main station. If your not carrying a lot of luggage you can just walk around 10-15 mins. Everything is just walkable and access to supermarkets, bars and clubs. I definitely enjoyed my stay in anker.

the roommates were terrible, they have no idea what cleanliness is and how to clean up after themselves. although the hostel has nothing to do with it, it still spoiled the impression a little

Had to walk through a little bit of a rougher part of the city to get there - could feel a little unsafe. Bit weird to have a kitchenette in the rooms - mostly because of the smell. Not much of a vibe to the hostel overall - no socialising or events organised by hostel.

Not too far walk from the main station, easy check in process. The staff were nice but not memorable. Bed and bathroom were comfortable enough and was good to have a towel included.

The drain under the toilet for the shower was not very well placed, and the shower curtain isn't long enough, so the water gets everywhere. Didn't have other soup to use the shower, only hand soap.

It was reasonable, priced, clean, and lots of space in the room. Really like that we can get in and out whenever we wanted, even if it was late.

There was a roof top terrace but it was open and the staff wouldn't open it despite asking twice and it being sunny. There was an issue with the keys meaning we were locked out of our room but the staff were helpful and it was resolved, it was just annoying.

The hostel was in a really good location to get around oslo, lots of bats and eateries close by. It was also very quiet and was not noisy.

we were a group of 6 and godt 5 keycards for the room, but most of the cards did not work - we could get in the building and through the door to the hallway but not open our rooms door, only with one of the cards.

Area was worrying, building opposite where there were lots of junkies day and night. No plug socket near bed. Not very clean rooms as only cleaned every 7 days, had to make own bed, WiFi wasn’t strong enough to consistent reach the rooms

You had to put in the linen yourself when checking in. There were no cups in the studio to help yourself for water. No possibility to increase the heating system so I found it to be too cold.

Great location if you’re planning to stay around the city center. Safe.
