Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

My very late check in was quick and smooth. The room and bed were comfy. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. The staff were professional, personable, and helpful. Location within a few blocks of central Arequipa. All that was great, but the breakfast was beyond superb! Oh, my goodness! Perfect omelette made to order and a countertop covered with so many fresh goodies. Sliced baked ham, cheeses, sweet and savory breads, fresh fruits, and topped off with chocolate-covered strawberries and candied oranges. What a great way to start Valentine's Day every day!

The wifi is weak and slow
The room is great, the location is quite but central, very close to the main plaza and restaurants and bars. The breakfast is amazing. The stuff is very nice and helpfull

I liked almost everything, but there was a bit of damp smell each time I entered the room. it was less felt with time. probably that was something specific to my room cause of the carpet covering the floor .
Beat breakfast I’ve had so far in Peru. Staff was really nice and welcoming. they’ve let me leave my luggage and also do some laundry while I want to an overnight trip to colca canyon. when I can back my luggage and folder laundry was waiting for me in the room . location is also convenient and close to center.

There was an issue for a few hours with the electricity on the top floor. But the staff informed me as soon as I was back in the hotel.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. I was checking out very early in the morning and they had a packed lunch for me. Amazing

The rooms are not really sound proof, as we were super tired it didn't bother us. The toilet flush was a bit.. weak, this is just good to keep in mind.
Nice breakfast, really good, friendly and helpful staff.

The best breakfast we had in Peru, with a main dish, variety of pastry, juices, eggs, fruits, good coffee. Comfortable rooms, good value for money. location was good too.

They don't have sugar-free sodas, lmao. My fianceé needed a hair dryer but there was none (neither in the room nor in the hotel). Maybe the TV channels could improve.
The hotel personnel is really kind and helpful. The breakfast is great and, in general, the accommodation is great, with few rooms and very cozy. Excellent for a couple and a family. It is located six blocks away from the main plaza, but in a really quiet neighborhood (Vallecito). It's the third time that I stay in Dreams Hotel and yet again was so nice being there!

Close to the historic centre, great rooms , super friendly staff. And a 5 star breakfast with 3 different fresh juices, eggs, home made marmelade, excellent coffee and whatnot. Amazing!!!!

WiFi was very slow in our room. Shower did not always have hot water.
Amazing breakfast, probably the best we have had in our travels in Peru. The bed was so comfortable and huge! Location is great, an easy 10 minute to the historical centre. Staff were so helpful and friendly and even sent us away with packed food as we were missing breakfast our last morning due to travel. Highly recommend!

Nice and spacious room. Very comfortable beds. Hot shower. Great location, very close to city center, but quiet at night, which is nice for sleeping. Super friendly staff. We could leave our luggage behind while on Colca Canyon trip. Very good breakfast!

Nothing, was nice.
The staff! Especially the lovely girl from breakfast! The bedroom was nice and comfy and clean, our room was nice and quiet. The breakfast was a nice buffet of fruits, cheeses, breads, juices and option to have eggs.

the room I was in was decorated in dark colors snd the lighting was not great .It is 8-10 minutes walk from city center but you can still see the Cathedral from my room window .The street is noisy as every where in Peru the drive with their horns on .bring ear plugs
staff are their Assets .Food was excellent . room was cleaned daily .I had breakfast in their terrace nearly every day .I booked initially for four days then extend to another three.It’s a small hotel but had everythingI needed .

This located is located close to the historic centre in quite quarter away from all the crowds and noise. The staff was amazingly helpful and even prepared for us take-away breakfast when we had to leave earlier. The bed is huge and so comfy! Highly recommended.
