Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of Americanone, everything is perfect. Best place ever.
I learned so much on this trip, it was the best two days of my life! the owners of the house were the best people in the world, They have the purest souls I've never seen. They were both warm and attentive, and since I was traveling alone, they even gave me a ride to a nearby restaurant. The next day I attempted the historical tour with them and heard so many stories that belong here only. It was a short time but I really learned a lot and there were so many touching moments to remember. I would have missed out on so much, and if I hadn't chosen this place and it was this place that made this trip special for me. Staying in a tent was also a novel experience, it happened to rain heavily during the night and I felt healed as I listened to the rain in my tent. The place was safe, everything was warm, and I felt like I was in my own home. To be honest I cried when I left, I really missed this place and I'm sure I'll come back again!

BangladeshYashei and Mr Julian are the loveliest couple ever! It was truly like camping in an aunt's backyard. They fed us mangoes from their garden, and Yashei has designed the homestead exquisitely! Highly recommend staying with them for a home-away-from-home experience. P.S.- If you're unsure about staying in tents, don't fret! It's clean, spacious, and airy (with a fan inside as well). There's even a power hub for charging your devices!

United States of AmericaI thought camping in a tent would be less expensive than an airbnb indoors but it was about the same price with taxes, cleaning fees, and driving fees. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Yashei & Julian were lovely and great tour guides that treated us like family. They made sure we had everything we needed & drove us to & from the ferry so we didn't need a rental. The bio bay tour was 5mins walking distance as was several restaurants. Yashei's coffee in the morning was a great perk. We got lucky to hear the rain on the tent at night-it was so peaceful.

United States of AmericaAbsolutely wonderful hosts, who made sure our tent was clean , neat as well as comfortable. They offer a trip around the island which we took: their knowledge of the area, the eco system, the history and the people provided us with a great perspective of the island. They even provided a complimentary home-cooked meal for us since we had reserved 2 tents. Overall, our family had a wonderful experience.

United States of AmericaNo complaints here!
Walking distance to access to the bio bay kayak tours! Also walking distance to some yummy food places. Would recommend renting a golf cart to explore more of the island though. We only stayed one night so walking distance was all we needed.

My kids and I traveled to Vieques to see the Bioluminescent bay and we stayed at the campsite. We had really great time staying there. It’s located at the private house. It’s only 5 min walk to the center where all the restaurants are and a nice broad walk to watch the sunset. The tent was very clean with a fan inside, clean sheets and towels. There is a big clean bathroom inside the house for the guests. There is also a fridge, coffeemaker and a water filter. The hosts were very very nice. They picked us up at the ferry station. We also booked a tour with them to see the island and they showed us so many interesting beautiful and fun places. We had so much fun. They gave us restaurant recommendations and helped with everything we needed. We had great experience staying at the camp and we were really impressed how beautiful the island is and wished we stayed longer. We hope to come back again soon.

United States of AmericaI thought it was all good. It's a nice tall air mattress in a tent for sleeping, which suits me fine. .5 mile walk to boardwalk. Shared bathroom.
The hosts were warm, welcoming and cared. We went out for NYE and had a lot of fun. They also picked me up from the airport and dropped me off at the ferry. So sweet.

United States of AmericaThe accommodation was super clean and comfortable! I tend to sleep warm but I was comfy with the fan and the shade. My favorite part, however, were the hosts. I’d call them a “power couple” - deeply intelligent, caring, and funny. It was my goal to support Viequenses in my time on the island; and my night of Glamping ended up being way more comfortable than that of my friends who chose a [foreign-owned, soulless] guesthouse. Upon seeing the property in the morning, they wished they had stayed here as well! A real bathroom and shower + filtered water + a mini fridge were added bonuses.

United States of AmericaThe wild roosters start sounding the alarms at 4 AM. Hilarious and very loud.
The host was very welcoming and passionate about the island and justice for the people. She is motivated to educate guests about the island and offers a tour. It was great that she offers this backyard tent option for an affordable place to stay. It is also very close to Esperanza and the bio bay tours.

ChinaThe tent is clean, and the restroom is quite spacious. The shower in the restroom is very comfortable. The landlady got a new mattress for our stay. She also made delicious coffee for us for breakfast. I especially love the historical tour that the landlady and the landlord gave us the next morning after our BioBay trip in the evening. The tour was about 2.5 hours, and $30 per person. They took us to the huge sacred ceiba tree, the US navy's pier, and the ruins of the Spanish sugarcane factory in the rain forest. We enjoyed the tour a lot, and learned so much about the history of Vieques. Highly recommend!
