Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

The hotel is very charming, clean and the staff very helpful and professional.
I really like the property, the staff was great and we like the spa. The restaurant lowers the grade, very poor options for dinner taking into account the few options in town.

The spa closes at 5pm so you cannot go in there unless you stay more than 1 day. The receptionist didn‘t speak English but the manager tried to make it up for it and reimbursed us some part of the money and arranged for us to go to another pool. It would be nice if the hotel indicates on the booking.com page that the spa is closed in the evening. The breakfast was also not the best
the room looked nice and the manager was very nice.

The cost-quality relation. For the price that was paid, the conditions should be better. The breakfast was ok but not up to the standards for a 4-star hotel. And the price did not include access to the thermal areas. The room was also ok but there was a scent in the air (not so good, probably due to humidity). There is not much free parking nearby.

It's a good hotel near a park with lots of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. There is a bus stop 50m away and the station is 10mins on foot. In fact, everything you need like shops, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, etc. is within easy walking distance.

The AC was a bit problematic and failed during one of the hottest days of our stay.
The pool and the Vichy massage were excellent. The city park was right next to the hotel, a good place for a late afternoon walk, and great restaurants nearby.

Air conditioning was poor. I brought my dog, and the room was really really hot.
Breakfast was good and the location had a park that was really nice for hiking.

A little noisy because just on the road. It didnt bother us but ear plugs could be useful if the room has road view
Very nice stay at Hotel Bienestar Termas de Vizela. Professional and friendly staff, very good wifi, spacious rooms and access to the Vizela baths for guests of the hotel. There is also an easily accessible parking. The breakfast was quite good with portuguese products such as pasteis de nata. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back! Thank you

Everything was great. Could have more parking spaces at the hotel, but it is in the center of the city, so it's understandable. A free of charge parking area closeby was supplied as alternative.
Breakfast had a nice variety and everything was very tasty.

The street noise might be uncomfortable for more sensitive people, for me was ok, but I would recommend staying in a room more distant from the street. There was a small infiltration in the bathroom ceiling with a bit of mold. Still, I had such a pleasant stay that none of those problems affected my grading.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. Everything is renovated, the room was very comfortable, huge bed, air conditioning is perfect, never too hot nor too cold, the breakfast was excellent and the Thermas... OMG, perfection! I don't remember when I felt that relaxed.

cold room, room next to the street, so we were cold and listening to cars passing by all night. there was no parking for the hotel and the street was filled by cars. the breakfast had stalled croissants, the bacon was cold and by 9am there was no more eggs and they didn't refill the custards are not that good.
The spa was really good and the staff is friendly and the hotel is cheap, if they improve on the breakfast and on climatization, this would be an amazing choice value for money
